Great location. Our reservation for the second night was lost but was sorted out quickly. Private room came with towels and tea making facilities which was an unexpected bonus however the room was incredibly cold.

Door to room did not lock and lockers are too small to secure all belongings. Breakfast starting at 8.30 is really late. Individual bathrooms are not ideal, prefer a block style. Staff are friendly and remember you by name. View from bar is nice. Overall, a fairly average hostel.

Breakfast was lovely, served on the roof terrace and the staff took the time to talk you through the layout of Istanbul including things to do. The rooms are basic, with as many bunks squeezed in as possible. We had one plug socket between 6 people and a central light rather than individual ones. The only good thing was that lockers were provided under the beds.

This is without a doubt the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Great value for money, filling breakfast and they provided us with padlocks for the lockers. Staff could be more knowledgeable about the tours advertised in the hostel, when we asked one girl she had no idea they even existed. Overall, would recommend.

Thank you very much for your review. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and your criticism seriously considered. The lack of knowledge that you mention is very suprising to us and we can assure you that all our staff is fully aware of our partnerships and activities. You might have been helped by one of our interns (as part of an internship program we developed with Lisbon colleges) who had just started collaborating with us therefore still in early training stages. Very warm regards.
