Quite a way up the hill away from the main drag, which could be a good or bad thing depending how you look at it. Staff are helpful enough. Food is distinctly average. Room was clean, each bed in the dorm has its own fan, light, locker and charging point which is really good. They join two bunks together which can be a bit cosy/annoying if the guy next to you has his fan blowing right on the separating curtain but that's not really the hostel's problem. Communal area/restaurant hardly used.

I got a couple of nights here on sale and it was ridiculous value. Unfortunately there was a cockroach in my bathroom but it was promptly dealt with and excellent staff immediately offered an even further discount. My bed was the size of a small country, my shower a highlight of my whole trip. Aims for the boutique hotel vibe and nails it. Up the rowd from the night market and right across from an authentic pho place, to which Mario took me and ordered in Vietnamese to save me hassle!

Great location, right by the old town. Lovely buffet breakfast, served by the pool (which itself is oddly placed though, and under a low roof). Big lockers. Unfortunately I was ill while in Hoi An and spent plenty of time in the hostel and I consistently found the staff to be surly, rude and reluctant to help with anything even if you could get their attention. Never nice when the cleaning staff pop into your dorm for a nap (after they've made up the beds no less) either. Shame.

The staff make this place what it is. Learning names and asking about specific activities you did that day makes you feel very valued. As a hostel it's fine, well-located with a decent restaurant upstairs and a nice common area down.

It's slightly out of the way, the mattresses may as well not exist and the common area is only OK. My biggest complaint is they only gave out one key to the dorm. Travelling alone, that meant one stranger -- heaven knows who - had access to my room and on the first evening I couldn't get to my stuff because the door was locked!. That aside, staff are generally very helpful and the bathroom was more than adequate.

Rooms are clean and relatively spacious. Big lockers, individual lights and charging points galore. Adequate ensuite bathroom. Superb staff, very helpful with tours and absolutely lovely during a misunderstanding over my bill. Great location for all the things you're likely to be doing.

Rooms are pretty average fare, big lockers and lots of charging points.Restaurant/bar is well used and a good place to meet people, but somewhat overpriced. Best thing about this place is the staff; personally attentive, eager to chat and keen to have a laugh with their guests. Well, all except one who decided I definitely had my bus time wrong and woke up the entire room at 630 trying to prove it (I didn't, and he didn't apologise). Would be a shame to let that overshadow the others' hard work.

Outstanding guesthouse. A very nice greeting package including free drink and snack and a cold towel, and the free massage, were most appreciated. Staff are absolutely stellar; take a genuine and personal interest, and were very accommodating to me when I had a problem with my shower, upgrading me to another room instantly and for free. Good restaurant. Room was very spacious and comfortable, felt like a four star hotel. Located close to the centre but on a quiet street. Thoroughly enjoyed stay
