Hostel Majdas

Mostar, Bosnia And Herzegovina

I've never felt so at home while travelling. Between Majdas sweetness & Bata's incredible enthusiasm, these are two of the most genuinely lovely people you'll ever come across. The hostel itself is colourful, welcoming, & immaculately clean. We booked 1 night, but ended up staying 2 to do Bata's tour (the best I've ever done might I add!). Had it not been for time constraints I would have gladly stayed a week. Without a doubt the best hostel I've ever visited :)

Hostel Enjoy

Jasmina was a genuinely caring and enthusiastic host, bringing us breakfast, giving us a sobering tour of the War Tunnel, & countless suggestions of places to see in Sarajevo. We only stayed two short days, but Jasmina's story & kindness left a lasting impression. The location is good (near to bus/train station), though the hostel itself is a little tricky to find (not the greatest signage).

Absolutely loved this little hostel in beautiful Lake Bled. Tom was an absolute wealth of knowledge; bombarding us with tidbits about the location area, history, and so many things to do! Upon his suggestion we rented two of his bicycles for the day & visited Vintgar Gorge. He also arranged for us to go canyoning with a private guide - definitely recommend this! The hostel itself is set in the most idyllic landscape - perfect for relaxing & enjoying the outdoors. Thanks again for everything Tom!

The Yellow

Much more of a party hostel than we were looking for (quite noisy at night, with crowds from the downstairs pub spilling out onto the street), but staff were fairly helpful (free drink while waiting to check-in, sightseeing suggestions) & the location was great for transport (near to Roma Termini).

Affittacamere Patrizia

Great location & plenty of character, though a bit tricky to find & the owner was a little abrupt. We stayed in a private room, which was a good size, though lacking in wifi & the lighting was a tad dim. It did have a roomy bathroom & fridge however, which were a bonus.

Great little hostel in Corniglia with friendly staff and immaculately clean rooms. Beds were cosy & the storage lockers were well sized.
