I traveled with 7 friends, we booked 2 rooms, the host was very helpful and friendly, she even cooked eggs for us in the morning.

The room was quite small - 90% of the floor space was taken by the bed. The location was not particularly central, it's about 20-25 min walk from the train station The hotel website does clearly say 'free breakfast', but when we arrived it said: '£4.99 breakfast'. The hotel has overcharged me the prepayment taken by the website and promised to refund it, but never actually did it (I've got my money back via Debit Dispute only after 3 phone calls to the hotel).

Nice place with friendly vibes, helpful staff, and comfortable bed. It's really advisable to come with a car, otherwise be prepared to walk 30 min. to a closest supermarket, 20 min. walk to a nearest pub (Clachaig Inn, really good). Walks: there are a few tracks nearby: Loch Lochan, the Orbital Track, the Pap of Glencoe, the Signal Rock. More mountain walks: Bidean nam Bian, Aonach Eagach or the Lost Valley - these start 1 hour walking distance from the hostel

I stayed for two nights. Friendly and helpful staff, terrible acoustics (thin walls), the beds are packed together, and once there was no ladder for the upper bed so I had to get acrobatic. Very big kitchen downstairs. There's a personal locker which is good. Showers are quite bad: you cannot control a temperature and you must turn on the water every 5 seconds, the shower heads are fixed, you cannot turn them. The overall cleanliness is OK.
