It was quite empty since it was low season but besides that it‘s a great hostel. Big dorms with everything you need, big and very clean bathrooms, great areas to hang around / socialise and nice breakfast for a fair price. And of course very close to the beach and everything.

Cool place 20min walk away from Montañita, which makes it more intimate/sociable, people hang there the whole day, eating breakfast and dinner together, playing beerpong etc in the evening. The facilities are good, they have a pool and volleyball-field, staff mostly really friendly (sometimes a bit unorganised because a lot of volunteers only work for 2 weeks there). Best parts: They have donkeys and one horse who live there and cats and dogs. So much fun!
Thank you so much for such a lovely comment! We really appreciate it :)

Worst Selina I ever stayed (it was my fourth). Unpolite Staff at every corner, they just don‘t care. Worst: The loud music 24/7. First in a dorm, where it was hardly possible to sleep because the music is so loud. Then at a double-room which was even worse, not only loud music from the bar but also from a club next to it. It‘s not fair to charge such high prices for that! Also got a water/food-poisoning after cooking in the dirty kitchen/washing the stuff with the rust-water! My last Selina.

The more Selinas I visit, the worse they get.. This one here was not really close to anything, staff again unhelpful/unfriendly and the longer you book it the more you realise they just try to make everything look fancy but they do not really wanna put money in it. There have been constructions, the bikes we rented were shit (and the guy there, wow, so not polite). It‘s just like they don‘t care at all anymore because people will book it anyway. It was also dirty in the rooms.
Hola! We are not use to read this kind of reviews regarding our staff. So sorry you didn't have the experience we wish you had. Please contact me directly to work things out for you!

Cute Selina-Hostel with a nice common area and all the stuff you need. They also offered yoga which was amazing. The guy at the tour-desk was very unfriendly, the girls at the reception also not really the nicest ones. But still an easy place to stay and good located.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review our property, we are happy to know that you spend such a wonderful time in Selina La Fortuna. We'll work hard to fix the issues that you experienced. We hope to see you again, thanks and pura vida!

Luxury Palace in the middle of nowwhere. It is more a hotel to be honest, so there is not really a Hostel Feeling. Not sure how easy it is if you wanna meet people (i was there with a girl I met before) - but if you wanna spend a few very relaxing days in a affordable place but with pool etc., it‘s the thing. Haven‘t been in such a luxourius hostel. Staff was very helpful!

Loved that place so much! Amazing area to relax with hammocks etc, super kitchen, 2min walk to the beach, great surf-teacher, nice waves to practice surfing, everything (restaurants, supermarket) close and the staff is very friendly and helpful! Stayed there 3 nights and can highly recommend it:-)

Booked one night, ended up staying 5 nights. Nice small hostel with a cozy common area, yumm pancakes for breakfast and very helpful staff. Surfing lessons top, also going out together. In general the people I met there were awesome. Negativ things: Not enough space and sockets/poweroutlets in the room, bathroom in the dorn was dirty all the time. But beach etc. are close, Playa Carmen is super, so I would recommend it!

Only stayed there one night after arriving in Costa Rica. It was ok, but not the nicest hostel i‘ve been so far. Nice breakfast and every sleeping place has a socket/power outlet and a big safe for the whole backpack. The rest was ok, bathrooms tend to be dirty and for me, the hostel was too far away from the center.

Big dorms with plugs in the locker, coziest bed ever, very friendly staff and best toilets/showers. Nice rooftrop and yummi optional breakfast. Plus Miraflores is a cool area, even if it's not in the center.
Dear guest, Thank you for your review, we are really glad that you enjoyed your stay here at Pariwana Hostel. We work every day to give you the best service. Best regards Head of Front Desk & Reservations

Nice Hostel, a bit too small rooms and there are only 3 showers with hot waters plus the bathrooms aren't really clean. Besides that, great breakfast and friendly staff!

Def. the best Hostel in Buenos Aires, especially if you are travelling alone. It's huge, has a cool shared area but the best things are all these daily activites they organise - for example free walking-tours to La Boca, Tango-Lessons, etc. Breakfast is ok, wifi also. But anyway, awesome place!

Cute Hostel with everything you need - but you have to be aware that this is not in the center of Christchurch at all. It's quite far but if you have a car, it's fine. Even 200mb free wifi;-) Kitchen was a bit small, but all in all ok.

Good located Hostel in the middle of Dunedin, nice shared and big kitchen, cosy rooms and good toilets/showers (except in the morning, they were a bit dirty..)
Thanks for your positive feedback. Bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned twice a day (after check out and evening) by staff but as you can imagine it is very difficult to keep clean during the busy period just before check out. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Happy travels :)

Because it's the only hostel there you don't really have a choice, but yeah it's a nice and special place, never been to something like that before. The owner is friendly, the facilities nice and so on. Good hostel:-)

Nice hostel with awesome staff and with the best cannoyning-tour in whole Da Lat. We booked it trough the Hostel and it was such a perfect day! Good and clean facilities and a nice community area and you can walk to the town in 10 minutes.

Nice hostel, especially because of the pool and some other sourroundings. Unfortunately, it's not at the lonely beach, it's quite far away from some places and the beach in front isn't that nice so you probably just stay more at the pool, especially if you don't drive motorbikes. Anyway, good place with perfect chill-out-areas.

Great hostel, perfect location and staff, nice community areas, etc. And they offer a Hug Hostel Trekking Tour for 2 Days and 1 Night - it was the best thing i've done so far in Northern Thailand. I would absolutely recommend doing this tour, you will see amazing places, the habitants of the mountains, the food is soo good and everything is worth the price. Perfect Place to stay in Chiang Mai.

Nice hostel for a stay in Koh Lanta, the staff is friendly and helps you out with tours, bus tickets, etc. The size of the dorm is good, but if you have one next to the street it could be a bit loud. Clean bathrooms, good atmosphere, perfect for single-travellers, for example the chillout-area has a TV where everyone is watching movies togethere in the evening. Good location, the Hostel is 5 min away from the Beach and has a lot of Bars ans Restaurants around it.

Next to the Shiralea on Koh Phangan, the Pak up Hostel is the second best Hostel in Thailand so far. Perfect rooms with funny interior, best and biggest bed so far, a place to lock your whole backpack, clean, nice bathrooms. Very good for people who are travelling alone, nice rooftopbar and other shared areas, every night a event like beerpong, big jenga competition, nice staff and perfect location.

Very small and dirty place, they didn't change the sheets and the toilet is dirty and doesn't have toilet paper. The dorm is only a very small room but with 12 beds in it. It's more a hostel for a layover than for being there a long time.
