Sprachcaffe International

St. Julians, Malta

Nice and clean rooms and showers, kitchen, very close to one of the main bus stations (which connect you to everywhere in the island), swimming pool and everything for only 10 euros. The downside is that is full of students (very noisy at night) and only wifi in common places (free of charge) but I'd still recommend it.

Castanea Old Town Hostel

Stockholm, Sweden

Good hostel. Very good location, the old town. With wi-fi, clean bath, clean rooms. Only downs is you have to pay for lockers and sheets (but you can bring your own). It's rather expensive but it's nice price as we're talking about Sweden. Totally recommendable.

San Sebastian Beach Hostel

San Sebastian, Spain

The ups: - Nice staff and helpful. Excellent location, on the downtown (the centre), where you have everything just a few minutes walking from the hostel. The downs: - Extremely pricey, does not worth so much money. Small rooms, you barely have space for walking. Only two bathroms and, one of them, the door doesn't close properly. No free parking nearby. The only parkings close to the hostel are very expensive (20€ per day). Bad choice if you travel by car.

Yes! Lisbon Hostel

Lisbon, Portugal

Staff and workers at Yes! Lisbon hostel, don't change!! The people are crazy (in a good way) and very nice and helpful, and everything else is the perfection itself!! (or so close to perfection instead). After being here one realizes why it's #1 hostel worldwide.

Yes! Porto Hostel

Porto, Portugal

Good hostel that has all you look for! Very helpful staff, good breakfast, free walking tours (to visit all the city and have a good time doing it!), pub crawls, very good location (where the Clreigos church), nearby everything in Porto, comfortable and spacious beds, free shot with everyone at the thostel every night, etc. And, if you pay ten euros, you have a homemade portuguese dinner which is so nice. I totally recommend this hostel (and the Yes! hostel at Lisbon as well).

Hostel Blues

Bratislava, Slovakia

What can I say about the rated nº1 hostel in Slovakia in 2009, 2010 & 2012? It totally deserves its position. Big hostel so you can meet lot of people if you're travelling alone (or in small group), pretty rooms, clean, silent, and, most important, enjoyable staff, young and nice (when talking about big hostels it's hard to find good staff, but you do find at this hostel). It's pretty expensive (17€ plus taxes) but totally worths its value. I don't regretspending the money on this hostel.

Locomotive Light Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

It's a pretty nice hostel, comfortable, sweet, warm, clean, with very nice staff, close to the train station but far from the city centre (30 minutes walking). If you don't mind the distance, it's a great choice. If you do, better choose another.

Balkan Han Hostel

I loved this hostel. (One of) the best hostel I've ever been. Great staff, great atmosphere, great location... has it all!! If I go back to Sarajevo I'll go there again, no doubt about it.

Not the best hostel, neither the worst. Just a good hostel that accomplist its commitment.
