My 3rd stay here - great central location to see places around Zócalo / Alameda and access metro to other places. Chilled vibe, friendly staff (who remember you if you go back!). Dinner and breakfast included. Great mix of Latino and overseas guests. You might find the rooms a little stuffy but a fan is provided. If it's cold the only communal area is still open air (if covered). 3 connections by metro to get there.

Shower pressure was a bit weak. Breakfast simple but plentiful. Easy to walk everywhere. Place is fresh and clean but not many there when I was there

Thanks to the Yak for an awesome time! One whole week of fun and relaxation. I don't usually do party hostels but the Yak won't deprive you of sleep unless you choose to. There were daily activities including dsy trips to get to know others at the hostel, staff are super friendly and helpful, and it's a great chilling spot, or to warm up for a good night out but when you want a early one, the rooms (except maybe the ground floor) are still quiet. A block from the main street in Playa.

Simple hotel living, heater wasn't that effective but blankets were warm, internet didn't work, lots of options for breakfast, staff were helpful

Best hostel we've been to in South America, wonderful hot showers with excellent pressure, great breakfast with crusty rolls, spreads, cereals, yoghurt, teas, coffee, eggs. Really chill relaxing (social opportunities really depend on your fellow travellers). The previous guest took the room key with them so they called a locksmith immediately to let us in our room. Small concern - they sometimes left our window open after cleaning nutrition opened into the hostel and i had no real worries

Nice clean spacious hostel in a very nice neighbourhood close to transport into the old centre or walking distance to shopping areas of Miraflores ery few minor comments : Breakfast is quite basic. Also private bathrooms aren't cleaned while you're there (we were there 4 days) One staff member was welcoming and helpful, another is a little more abrupt (maybe because of language) and another doesn't speak English. It's not quite in the action of Miraflores but that could be a plus.

Well organised - open just in time for Carnival - 3 level bunks but very stable, i didn't notice others climbing into bed. Bathroom / shower for our 12 bed dorm but there were at least 3 'common' bathrooms as well. They cleaned at least twice a day. Staff don't speak English although they'd asked someone to work the week of carnival to translate. Our friendly owner escorted us to where we wanted to go for Carnival to negotiate better prices for all guests. Very well located for Carnival

Perfect if you're after a quiet hostel where people are friendly but you can still sleep comfortably/quietly. Only 2 bathrooms for about 25 guests but i didn't have any problems, they're cleaned twice a day. My only complaint is after booking online for 2 nights I wanted to stay till the end of the week and they would only confirm a day in advance, even though i was willing to pay up front. It worked out until they told me on my last night I could stay then later I had to move.

Quite old place but it has character and if you're on a real budget It's adequate. Rooms are spacious, although you'll feel the bed springs. Blankets and sheets are old but warm and clean There's TV, wardrobe space and nice views onto the streets. The kitchen is small but has what you need. Lots of bathrooms with hot showers. Relaxed vibe opening out to the square. Friendly hoSt but you'll need Spanish Dislikes: lots of stairs, bathroom floods easily if guests don't use the curtain properly

Lovely family-run hostel with only a few guests at a time. Homely feel, relaxed and laid back only a block or two away from the main action in town. Fresh coffee and bread and jam for breakfast looked after by our host. we were only there one night but would have stayed longer Bathrooms are a bit snug but everything worked fine.

We were right near the laundry/kitchen so it was a little noisy but other rooms should be ok. Toilet bins couldbe emptied more often but bathrooms were generally clean. Otherwise nit beachfrint but still accessible location
We are really sorry about the noise from the laundry room We are now considering making door to reduce the noise Thanks for your valuable review, Hope to host you again :)

Nice, clean, has several common areas including a terrace, only small safes in the room though, I'm so used to lockers everywhere was surprised not to find it here, but otherwise the place is fine to stay in. Not as cheap as what you'll find in Madrid but still
