Great place to stay - they have a big table in the common area where its easy to meet people. Beds were really big and comfortable. Only downside is the kitchen area gets noisy early so it can be hard to sleep in. Lots of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away.
More of a hotel than a hostel, but very cheap and just what you need.
Located a bit of a walk from old town, but still a good area. Free dinner that gets everyone involved and amazing staff really make this place. Could use a couch in the common area!
Had an amazing time here. All the rooms have 3 or so beds in them, which makes it really easy to get a good nights sleep and make friends with your room mates. Kitchen is small but has a massive table for meeting people and everyone seemed to be pretty friendly.
Very busy, but that's not always a bad thing. Was good for meeting people, cheap beers and right next to Sol. The staff were pretty good, especially Marco.
Has all the facilities you need - but I found the atmosphere very lacking and went elsewhere for the rest of my stay in Madrid.
Cool place, has a bar and big kitchen area. Has great meals every couple of days for cheap. Closest you can get to staying near the Alhumbra.
Stayed here right before christmas and all the staff were super friendly and in a great mood all the time. Have a big couch/lounge area to hang out in. Drinks and dinner here were good. Would definitely come back.

This place has an amazing breakfast..til 1pm with bagels, bananas and multiple types of cereal..loved it! only bad thing seemed to be lots of long term stayers who were friendly with the staff and seemed to have their own little group which made it harder to meet people.
Located a bit out of the way, but the staff were really great - offered me a beer as soon as I walked in and got everyone talking and meeting each other, wish I stayed longer!
