Arrived at 5am after a 48 hour bus ride from Quito. Dropped my stuff by the bed and got a few hours sleep. Woke up at 9 to find my bag of presents had been stolen (my own fault for not locking up i know). Went to reception and explained what had happened. I was told by the girl that it was not her problem and that If i spoke to her nicely then she would think about having a look at the CCTV.The entire time this girl was Incredibly patronizing. Worst hostel desk service received in South America.
fantastic hostel. Close to the Old Historical town. Whole place looks like its fresh out of IKEA. powerful hot showers, warm comfy beds, fantastic staff, everything you want from a hostel.
Fantastic hostel. The couple who run the place are extremely helpful and friendly. very small quiet hostel, if you're looking for that. 100%
its Loki, you probably know what you're getting already. This one is a bit different to the others though, more of a holiday resort feel. Pools great, bars great, foods great. beds are a little more basic than usual, but lets be honest you're not staying at Loki for the beds. Best and liveliest hostel in Mancora by far.
Good, solid hostel. Comfy beds, hot showers, can't complain at all!
Staff were exceptional, food in the restaurant was great, beds were comfy. Close to the main road to get your taxi's to Huacachina. Would definitely recommend.
it's a Wild Rover. 100%. You guys made our SA trip x
Great hostel. Curtains on bed is a massive plus. banana pancake breakfast was a great addition. Cheers guys x
Guys you've got to sort your beds out. Some of those matresses (most that i tried in 3 different rooms) are absolutely horrible. Other than that good hostel for a stop off either side of the jungle. NEW MATTRESSES GUYS PLEASE
WE LOVE WILD ROVER
Everything we wanted from a hostel. thanks Loki x
Very small hostel, so not much atmosphere. Hostel is very far on the edge of town, much better to book one in the center for a few pennies more. Basic hostel, much better in town.
Great hostel. Has everything you need. Fire is fantastic.
Excellent staff, excellent facilities, chilled vibe. in the best area of town for the bars and nightlife. Definite recommend.
I had a broken plank in my bed, made sleeping very uncomfortable. The same for my travelling partner. I do feel sorry submitting a negative review, as the staff themselves were perfectly good. The hostel however is very outdated, bathroom is horrible with urinals practically in the shower. No privacy. The back of the hostel appears to come out into a car park? And the lockers were in the form of over sized tool boxes ( about 4ft long) which can be easily carried out the hostel!
Staff were fantastic, even though we changed our dates on them, even ordered us a cab at short notice. Good hostel, no problems whatsoever. Would recommend.
Great hostel. Quiet secluded location. Would stay again!
100%. one of the best hostels we have stayed in in South America. Atmosphere is second to none. I would call this a party hostel, with music going until the early hours, so be wary if you want a quiet nights sleep. Can't recommend enough, definite recommend.
More of a hotel than a hostel, has everything you need for airport transfers, which is what most people would use the hostel for I imagine! Great staff and facilities. Airport transfer in the morning is a great addition. Recommend.
Easy 100%. The guys here work very hard to make sure you have the best experience possible. They're all amazing. They also put on events such as beach parties and bar crawls to get everyone together and talking. A small hostel relatively, so a great atmosphere, we stayed 4 days here, and by the time we left we really felt like part of the family. Location is right on Girona metro stop, so the city is at your doorstep.100% recommend.
Fantastic hostel, perfect location (Interlaken is relatively small anyway). There is pickups from the hostel for all the adventure companies such as Alpinraft. Breakfast is the best free breakfast in the 20 hostels we've stayed in this year. You even get free tokens that can be used for the washing machines. Definitely recommended, we'll be staying here again if we come back to Interlaken! (We probably will, it's a fantastic place!)
Yes it's cheap. But not having bed sheets and either being boiling hot or bitten severely by mosquitos just isn't worth it. I think this hostels got its priorities wrong. They're running BBQ's every other day, and have table tennis and pool tables which is great, but when I'm lying there on a plastic matress and pillow, sweating and getting bitten all over, its like trying to run before you can walk. Sort the basics out first, like somewhere comfortable to sleep. Don't stay here.
Fantastic hostel. We were booked for a 6 bed but they upgraded us to the 2 bed. Air con was a blessing. Hostel looks and feels great, love the decoration. good location due to proximity to the metro stop. Definite recommend, stay here!
Great place to stay, the only thing that lets this hostel down is the location, as you have to use their shuttle bus service to get to Venice, as the train station is about 30 mins walk for us interailers. Other than that this place is pretty cool, the pool was fantastic after a long trip travelling through central europe. This is definitely a young place, and every night you will get hoards of young travellers hit the camp shop for drinks, then party outside till the early hours. Recommended.
Great Hostel. Real small old school hostel feel. We walked from the train station which was quite far, you will most likely have to use the public transportation. Free tea and coffee and use of kitchen which is a definite plus! Definite recommend.
Great hostel. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff, they are very genuine. Showers weren't the cleanest I've seen in my travels, but It wasn't a problem. Great location (Bratislava is pretty small anyway). On that note you can see this place in one day, we stayed a single night, and still felt like we had seen everything when we left the following morning. Definite recommend.
Overall Good hostel. We did have to move rooms once because there was a crazy old German man in one of the rooms, but I suppose that isn't their fault. My one gripe would be that there was no air flow in the building. The windows open just a slit, and the whole building was very hot and stuffy! If you like the big multinational hostels then this is pretty standard and you won't have any problems.
Our favourite hostel by far. It's basically a hotel. 100% stay here for your trip. The only negative was the older woman staff member who Mothers you when you're using the washer and kitchen facilities. Tried to tell me to wash my pan up before I'd even eaten my food. But yeah fantastic hostel
They are very honest in stating that building works are going on, but I think their assumption that this will not detract from the hostel experience is wrong. There was supposed to be a "bathroom" on each floor, there wasn't. Cleanliness was effected also. Wifi was spotty to say the least. The rooms were boiling hot, and to open the window meant a stream of Mosquitos coming through and biting during the night. I've slept in a lot nicer hostels for the same price.
Fantastic "new age" hostel. Basically a hotel. It can be argued you lose atmosphere when places are this big, so maybe only book in if part of a group, but we found it easy enough to meet people in the bar downstairs. Pricing is above average for our trip, but I think that's Paris more than the hostel itself!
Had great clean dorm in bottom level of the building. Excellent bathroom facilities en suite. Common room made it easy to meet fellow travellers. Definite recommend.
