Sibylla Hotel

Delphi, Greece
91%

We would definitely recommend it to others. - Sibylla is small, but the rooms are extremely good-value. A bit dated, but very clean and comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful. Half the rooms are towards the street (pretty quiet at night), the other half has great mountain views. There's no elevator, but most rooms seem to be on first floor already. Delphi basically consists of two parallel streets, and on Sibylla's street are several caf├ęs and bakeries, so breakfast is easy to get as well.

Amazing place, which the lovely owners clearly care about and take care of. Colourful rooms with comfy beds and fluffy duvets, both a roof and a 'ground' terrace, a dog and two cats, good breakfast (even got fresh orange juice, nice touch!). We loved it! - Note: Nafplio is quite steep in that entire area, so most ho(s)tels there are problematic if you have giant suitcases. On the other hand, you get an amazing view, and a change from the hustle and bustle from the busy streets further down :).

Pella-Inn

Athens, Greece

Pros: Excellent location, polite staff. Cons: Pella-Inn has a serious security problem. We were living in multiple rooms and could actually open one room (a "private" 2-bed room) with a dorm key! We didn't try it the other way around, but were having enough reason already not to leave any valuables behind at any time. Though the leaflets advertise towels, they aren't given until asked for. Neither are sheets to put between oneself and the (let's face it - not regularly washed) blanket.

Very convenient place to stay at. This comes with one problem though: The noise at night for the rooms facing the street (and there are many of those). Even with the windows closed, it's ridiculously loud.

FuQi Hostel

Tainan, Taiwan

Excellent location. Spread out over two floors, a bit hot in summer as they only turn on the AC in the rooms for the night (not in the communal areas), but good facilities in general. Makes it an ideal place if it's only a short stay in Tainan and walking distance to sights is crucial.

Iris' Tower

Tainan, Taiwan

Cozy place with great facilities. Very spacious, on the 14th floor. Only drawback is the location which is conveniently close to the night markets that are open on Thursday/weekends only, but further away from all the main sights (and the train station). - Still, I'd recommend it, especially if you stay for more than just a night.

Loved the place! Josie was really helpful, thanks for booking the whale/dolphin-watching tour for us! Shame that people can't check-in after 10 pm, but other than that, it's been great.
