Lovely rooms and friendly staff. The kitchen is great but it’s not very comfy to just hangout in and no one seemed to use ‘the lounge’ so it wasn’t quite as social as I was hoping

I didn’t find the hostel as sociable as I was expecting. The cafe/bar on the ground floor feels quite separate from the hostel and we didn’t feel encouraged to hangout there. Otherwise, a good location for getting around.

We loved our stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The free bike rental was really useful for getting around. The room was very comfortable and the common areas were lovely to relax in the evening.

Clean comfortable rooms, lockers are outside the rooms and only big enough for small valuables. Location is fine but not many restaurants near the hostel compared to other areas of Tokyo.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, loved the daily yoga and met great people. The bar’s expensive though so not many people seemed to go.

The travel agency and the bar/restaurant are very handy especially because I didn’t feel safe going walking to the old town at night. I found the room pretty cold and you can hear the music from the bar in the rooms as well.

The location is in a nice area but isn't great for tourists, the centre of town isn't a walkable distance so you have to rely on the u bahn which isn't that close. There seemed to be issues with getting the internet to work when we were there. Some people at the desk would only give us an internet code that lasted an hour so we had to keep filling out forms every time we wanted to connect but then someone else gave us a 2 day code so that whole system was annoying. The free breakfast is good.

A very nice stay generally. The room had a small balcony, very nice to sit out in mornings and evenings. Everything we expected.

Overall we had a very lovely stay. The kitchen facilities are excellent and everyone's really friendly. Big lockers are available in all rooms which can hold you're whole bag which makes it feel a lot safer especially if travelling alone. Only thing was the room was very hot at night and the ceiling fan didn't seem to make that much difference compared to newer fans in another room we stayed in.

Sunrock offers a great boat trip which we weren't initially told about so ask the staff! Everyone's very friendly and the free dinner is lovely and a great time to meet other people. The surrounding area doesn't have much going on so the hostel is the only place to drink and socialise which is fine as long as the hostels busy. Room could do with some work.
