Seoul Base Camp

Jake was super friendly and helpful, wee appreciated the advice on where to eat around Hapjeong. Location wise you cannot get any better than Base Camp, right outside the exit of the metro and situated on the two metro lines that are most important to travellers. In regards the hostel itself, toilets are a little rundown, and there were no locks on the cubicles. Showers were amazing, and beds were comfortable. Thicker blankets needed though. All in all, a great place to stay!! Thanks Jake

Thank you too! Sorry about the toilet. We are currently improving our look and structure so that we can give extra comfort and privacy for everyone. We will post the new photos pretty soon. We are glad you had a great time. We would love to have you guys again and can't wait to hear you speak in your Irish accent. - Jake

Only stayed one night but was pleased with Kimchee Guesthouse. Beds were comfortable, rooms spacious and clean. Toilets were as expected with the traffic coming through. Staff was hard to find when I wanted to check in but once there they were very friendly. Location is excellent, just off Hongik metro exit 8.

A/C was a little weak but I think that had more to do with outside temperatures. Also weird time restrictions on use of shower, only available 7-9am and then again from 6-11.30pm.

Thank you for staying at our hostel . We will fix the air-conditioner. We try to make the time which can use a shower longer. Thank you for your frank reviewing. Best Regards.

Great location and security, very friendly staff. No aircon in single room, and door was very stiff and difficult to open and close. Construction going on around hostel so was woken up pretty early.

Pretty decent hostel, great location. Best part about this hostel is the open communal space, plenty couches to chill out and plan. Staff are helpful and friendly. Beds are not the most comfortable and are noisy, so light sleepers might not have the best sleep. Power showers are amazing!!
