Wada Hostel in Guilin

Guilin, China

Place to stay in Guilin! It is near a mall and street food. They also have good tours to the Rice Fields. The place feels like home with all the books, dvds and hang out space. Dumpling day was cool! :D Staff was super helpful, really good english! And never annoyed even dough I was always bothering them. Dorms have lockers, are cleaned everyday and each bed has curtains for privacy. Wish I could have stayed more time! Bus station very near (in front of the shopping mall)

Beware: This hostel is not in Yangshuo. It is in Xingping, 1h (7y) bus ride from Yangshuo. But totally worth it! If your interest is authenticity Xingping fills the gap, and this hostel doubles it. Cool staff with really good english. Good pizza and movies every night. Is just a step away from the river, and the rooftop view is amazing. Clean, lockers in the room and with a cozy common room. Would've stayed more time if I could!

One of the owners is decorating the place, and just now looks super good to chill out for a few days. Location is cozy and it would be a place I wouldn't have seen if it wasn't for this hostel location. Dorms have lockers and are overall clean (note: clean the floor under and behind the beds). Cool place in Guangzhou!

With so many hostels in Hanoi I cannot recommend this one sadly. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special. It is cheap, but staff doesn't put an effort on it. Since the free breakfast looked like such a big favor I didn't even bother to ask for the free beer. Friendliness is as existent has the swimming pool. It is ok and cheap, that is it!

Liked it very much! Stayed there for quite a few days. It is in the business district so you have anything you need around. Lockers in the room. Clean. And staff was super nice with anything you may need. Also very good to meet other travelers. Note: Dorm is on the last floor (6th). Would definitely recommend it!

Wi-Fi IS NOT FREE! Was asked 30rp/hour when they mention in the facilities section "Free WiFi". Received by owner like I was a unreserved guest, even dough i arrived on the time I mentioned, also was asked about all details about the reservation. It is his job to have that information. Staff was nice and welcoming. Very noisy and cold at night. For cheaper you can get same/better in Pushkar. Book one night here or other and do your research once you get there. Wouldn't recommend this one.

Staff was very professional. Also caring, taking me at 5am down the road for me to pick up the tuk tuk they arranged. Food was good in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and super comfortable sheets and blankets. It is not very close to the attractions and get there at night you have to walk trough creepy streets, but Udaipur is not that big and had no problems on the 3 nights there. Everything was really good.

Perfect guesthouse. Excellent service, free pick up and drop off at train station. Always caring for you in every detail. Camel safari is presented without being pushy and fits every budget with variety. Owner and staff try hard to make you feel welcomed. Food is also good in the hotel restaurant. Well decorated room and super clean. Improvements in hotel continue and everyday they try to make it better and it shows. The place to stay in Jaisalmer.

Amar Niwas Guesthouse

Sunny and its family were very nice and very attentive. What defines a guesthouse. Traveling alone, it was really good to actually feel the family warmth, good meals in the restaurant, really good. Location is perfect because it is quiet and walking distance to the fort and Rao Jodha park. Facilities were normal to Indian standarts, no complaints. Just staying in the rooftop looking the fort and the city eating good food is a pleasure. Keep the good work Sunny.

Good value for money. A bit far away from what you want to see in Jaipur, but i believe every hostel it is near this area instead of near the main attractions. Good restaurant, staff and clean rooms.

This is not a hostel, its part of the Plovdiv experience. Made it so much better. Being received in my own language, by a caring staff, in a house all renovated inside in the old style. Lavender on the pillows, old restored furniture, super clean facilities, beautiful new bathroom and no more than 4 beds in each room, and also breakfast included. The staff even took care of my tickets to Turkey and delivered them in my room. Because it was so nice i stayed there one more night. Just perfect!

I had to stay here a week waiting for a Visa. The staff is awesome and price good. Everything else i wasn't too happy about it. Could feel the springs on the mattresses. Triple bunk beds aren't a good idea. One of the showers has rust. Bad policies, mainly you pay if you want to stay after check out, or to leave your bags. Not good if overnight train to Sofia. All an all, new management trying to make money with extras, cool staff has to follow rules. Other hostels (Dali) are a better option.

One of the best hostels, if not the best I've been in. The facilities are of a top apartment, the reception is close to the rooms so everything is always clean and taken care of. Beds are comfortable and lockers fit the content of a backpack. Just wish it had more plugs near some of the beds. Because its a small hostel its way better. It's really close to everything. Stayed in another hostel in Belgrade and it didn't compare to this one. Keep up the good work and good prices Hostel Dali.

Stayed back in October. Place is a bit hidden in a back street. I got lost, but called the hostel and they picked me up right away. The owner speaks really good English and it's super helpful. Ask right away because he might not be there sometimes and only his mom is there (doesn't speak english, but it is a lovely lady. Offered food and a smile everytime). The outside doesn't promise much but the inside is super modern and clean. Walking distance from main things. Place to stay in Mostar!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Reception was super welcoming (Jo is a great hostess). The lockers under the bag fit my super big backpack and are very practical. By tram is very easy and fast to get anywhere. No complaints. Very good experience. Stayed an extra night just to rest. The chill out room is so comfortable.

It is perfect. Aside from the location, which is a bit far away from the main sights, it is a perfect hostel in Prague. However it can be reached easily by tram, it is worth the distance. Has a pool and sauna, it is super clean. The staff is very very helpful and has a good hang out room. Aside from the location (this being a problem if you're solo and want to go out at night, not a problem for sightseeing) It is probably one of the best hostels I've stayed in.

If you have the chance, choose another hostel. It’s too big for the poor management it has. Staff is new almost every day and haven’t much formation (most of times can’t answer your questions), and that makes it easy for people outside the hostel to enter it and just sleep in the couches or steal stuff. Dirty common areas, slow wi-fi, almost no cuttlery, reparing takes place in the morning. Good prices and confortable (but noise) beds. If the intention is just sleep for 1/2 of days, its ok!

Hoza Hostel

It is not a bad hostel for a short stay. However it lacks in a variety of things. Not really 24h reception. Kitchen has a fridge, microwave, some plates and that's it. Don't expect to cook here. Could have one more bath room, and water pressure was insufficient. No individual lockers. Supermarket right outside. Comfortable beds, very noise dough.

Was welcomed with a beer I wasn't counting on, very friendly bartender. Other people from the staff could've been more alive and happier. Free breakfast. Very near the centre, very cheap prices per night. Would definitely recommend it, best place in Riga :D
