Staff was incredibly nice and helpful! The rooms are spacious and furnished very nicely. The location is great and you can reach every attraction in BA either by walking 30-40min or by taking the metro (closest station is "Gardel" on the red line). Close by are many different restaurants and supermarkets. The only improvement point would be to have a bigger kitchen and more tables under a roof in case of rain.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in in South America! All very nice and new. Great equipped kitchen, lovely garden area and pool, absolutely silent and calm neighborhood, incredible volcano view and close to several supermarkets, caf├ęs and restaurants (max 5min walk). Own tour agency for booking tours. It would have been nice if the heating system had been working every night because it was cold already. Offering a breakfast would make the hostel first class. Staff doesn't speak English.

YHA Auckland International

Auckland, New Zealand

Great 4-bed room solutions with enough space for big backpacks. 2 power plugs per room are a bit too little in times where everyone needs to charge cameras, cellphones etc. Ok bathrooms, but too little ventilation in the big common ones. Great kitchen facilities, yet again bad ventilation (not possible to open windows at all). The hostel is located nicely close to the main street, though the next supermarket is approx. 15min walk away. Great & helpful staff!

Spacious, nice, light rooms. Very friendly staff, amazing day- and nighttime view onto the skyline/ tower of Auckland. Stray bus has a pick-up just around the corner. Lovely area for several restaurants, little shops and pubs. Unfortunately, closest supermarket is quite a walk away (25min one way - uphill back). Overall amazing hostel, strongly recommendable.

Very nice and helpful staff. Rooms a bit worn down, bunk beds rather uncomfortable. Was perfect for one night stay-over to catch the early Greyhound bus towards Sydney.

Another great review from a 1 nighter, arrived at 6pm and left at 5 am , I don't thing some one staying 11 hours should even be able to leave stupid reviews. This is a backpackers and you are only paying backpacker price's, The mattress in your room a under 1 year old, may I suggest maybe loosing some weight so your not squashing the shit out of the mattress , or being a little bit more realistic with your expectation's verses that you are paying.

Incredibly nice and helpful staff! Very nice common area and clean pool. Perfect location to supermarkets, jetty for the reef tours and shopping area all close by. It would have been lovely if the dorms had reading lights per bed so that some could read while others sleep. Airport transfer available with discount rate (5$). Bathroom facilities a little bit complicated when hostel is fully booked (too few separate showers/ toilets). However, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

Incredibly lovely & helpful staff - new owner Seb takes very good care of the property. Perfect location for a night(s) before and after the common 3-day Uluru trips. Just relax in the beautiful garden with the clean pool, walk 10min to the town center (incl supermarket) and enjoy the clean and well equipped kitchen. Female's bathroom has complementary body lotion and other female necessities - very handy when travelling for a long time! Airport shuttle is available for a small fee (12$).

Shoestrings Airport Lodge

Johannesburg, South Africa

I stayed there for one night and chose it due to the closeness to the airport. For that it was ok, but I paid for a single room and shared bathroom, and the bathroom was missing any possibility to shower. Rooms were clean but very run down. No water in the pool and the atmosphere was somewhat depressing. Good for strategic overnight stay, but nothing for longer/ to explore Joburg.

Very friendly and helpful staff, simple but functional rooms, lovely breakfast and great location! The tram 49 stops right outside the door and within 10min you are in the heart of Vienna. This wasn't the last time I was at Hotel Pension Walzerstadt! Thanks for a great stay!
