This hostel is really all about the staff. If not for the staff it would not have been good at all. Great breakfast, good kitchen. Its a really small hostel and the 8bed dorm is so cramped. It should have been a 6bed. Also the downstairs toilet was rented out as "private" during our stay which caused lines (12ppl/1 toilet). They shouldnt give that option since it causes wait for so many others. After all: EXCELLENT STAFF!!!! Would recommend just because of the ppl working there

More like a hotel than a hostel. Not too good if you want to meet people. The kitchen faciliteter were not the best but it was possible to cook. Great breakfast buffet and the staff was really helpful

Best kitchen I've seen for 3 months in south america. Really clean, everything got cleaned everyday. A bit hard to close the bathroom doors but you could live with that. Breakfast just as good as any in Argentina and the staff was helpful whenever you asked for something. They could have more/bigger lockers but all your valuables fit. Would recommend it!

Only stayed one night so dont have much to say. Could use more bathrooms but the three ones that existed were all clean. Our room was really messy but that was because of the people who stayed in there. Okay kitchen and nice breakfast.

Some of the staff were okay but the rest didnt seem to care too much about you. The kitchen is good but the breakfast is terrible, coffe and a jar of crackers - thats not even breakfast?? Toilets on the top floor werent cleaned and often ran out of toilet paper. Not a terrible place but I think you can find better

The covers were so comfy! Great beds, clean bathrooms, good kitchen, big lockers. The BBQ got canceled 2 nights in a row which was sad. Didnt really like the owner, felt like he was a bit fake. All of the temporary staff was really nice though!

Hi, thanks for the compliment about our Hostel and service, and excuse us about asado canceled but I have a family with 4 kids and sometimes we need time for them too. It´s a pitty that you felt a bit fake but we cannot change what is inside our guests. hope you can change those feeling during your trip. Enjoy

Cosy place but the rooms got kind of cramped from 6ppl sleeping in them. Really unstable bunkbeds so you could feel the slightest movement from the person on top/under you. Very nice staff though and we really enjoyed our stay! Nice hot pool in the backyard, great kitchen and huge tv with lots of movies. Would recommend it.

Great kitchen! Cosy atmosphere in the entire hostel, kind of feels like youre at someones house. Staff was helpful and you get your own key to the front door so that you can come and go as you want without ringing the bell

Well equipped kitchen. We got free pasta for dinner! Breakfast was okay. Bread, jam, fruit, yoghurt. Some toilets were out of order and sometimes there was no toilet paper. I think the staff is working there just for weeks at a time. They were all nice but not more than that. Over all: nice place to stay.

Rooms could get a little cramped but it was okay with a window open. Never had to wait to use the shower or bathroom. Good breakfast, cereal, milk, bread. Big lockers in the dorm. Kind of far (20min walk) from city center. 10 min to supermarket. Really friendly staff!!!

Only stayed one night and we didnt use the kitchen. Breakfast was okay. No lock on the front door, people can easily walk in and out. When we askes about luggage storage the owner, who was really nice, just put them in the corridor where everyone were walking around

This is a hotel and not a hostel. Booked a double but ended up in a room with 4 single beds. Just us two but we did book double bed. Either way the room was nice and the view from the fourth floor was amazing. Good breakfast. Right on the tourist street which makes you feel safe

Nice place by the beach. The staff was friendly but new and didnt know too much about the area. Also they were all over the hostel and kind of hard to find when you wanted something. The kitchen was outside and not the best. Otherwise: all good.

Very clean and nice. Kitchen was good. There are now 2 bathrooms and 2 showers for women and one for men. Cant really say anything about the location but San Jose felt pretty small so there was no problem walking to the city center. The area felt safe. David is SO NICE and HELPFUL. He helped us to book a trip to Tortuguero and when the bus didnt arrive he got up at 6.45 to call them to see what was going on. Great place to stay!

We had an awesome stay at this hostel! It's soooo clean and the rooms are very well organized. Every person has their own locker with a key card to it and a shelf right beside their bed. Everybody in this hostel is so polite and nice to you they really want to make the best out of your stay. They organize activities every night and if you like to go out me and my friends recommend the pub crawl. The kitchens and the common room is great! I would definitely go there again :)

Perfect Hostel

Room was clean and nice. Nothing wrong with the bathroom. The showers are on every other floor and arent very fresh, but okay. You couldn't call the kitchen a kitchen since there was no oven or Stove only a microwave. The hostel is really close to moulin rouge and sacre coure which is good. There is also a supermarket right across the street.
