Great place to stay, full of very relaxed staff and guests, some minor inconveniences such as living area is always being used for some "big event" such as massage, yoga or using a big screen to watch movies.. Which sounds cool but annoying when you want to use the lounge, only to find 1 or 2 people are using the entire space for yoga and massage the whole night, also nobody mentioned or invited me to such things which would have been nice. This place could be better with newer bedding also.

Owner Comment (Hide)
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the activities we try to provide for the guests. However, we also try to provide plenty of free space to hang out when these activities are in progress such as the roof terrace with hammocks or the kitchen or the living area beside it. We also try to announce the activities as often as possible and post signs to notify the guests, but we will try to be a bit more rigorous! And, just a few days ago we replaced all the old mattresses with brand new ones, so when you come back they are waiting for you!! Thank you for your review and we hope next time you come, your stay will be that much better!

Free sangria every night so your lifestyle may suddenly change to incorporate this generosity. Also makes meeting people easy and enjoyable. Would love to stay here again.

This place is great value, you will not find better or cheaper. Feels super homely as it is actually a house in a quiet inner suburban neighbourhood. Easy to get to and easy access to city and sights. No reception desk, just the owner will meet you and show you around so keep in contact. Feels like a share house more than a hostel. Free computer, tv with loads of channels modern kitchen with everything. Plenty of bathrooms, everything is clean and new! This place is amazing!

stayed in a room with loads of beds, most of which were occupied by a large group who were up late drinking every night. Sort of place that does not seem clean, even when it is. Not a good vibe, no atmosphere, did not enjoy being in the common areas, wifi is not compatible with phones according to reception and computer use cost more than it is worth. Did not respond to my email after I left something plugged into the wall. Breakfast was pretty good!

Nice place, not as perfect as description and other reviews but still nice, free food and drinks on various days which is nice, and wifi seems good everywhere.

to eat you can walk down to their cold and creepy dungeon to use microwave, but they do not let you eat that food in the bar, you must remain in the creepy cold downstairs to eat, which is also where the projector is, but its dissapointing. they need carpet and been bags rather than cold stone and uncomfortable dining chairs. Also got told sharply by the owner not to eat near projector, while i was still microwaving and not planning to anyway, unnecesary and rude!

Rules rules rules... and everything costs extra, if i remember correctly even storage of bags £1.00. Food without label in fridge will be removed almost instantly, kitchen bare minimum plates, forks etc... AND somebody ate my cookies (its a big bad world out there)

Stayed 1 night, key card was cancelled three times over this short stay, when it is valid it is still annoying to unlock doors with.. no common area, no cooking facilities, just a bar and average food for average prices.

The common room is a bar and so you are not allowed to bring own drinks, but also bar is only open to guests and not general public so it seems strange to have such costly drinks. Breakfast was good and cheap.

Ok, to find a bathroom sometimes required wandering through the maze of a place that seemed to once be seperate houses, that is when the closest one was occupied. There was an old guy chewing pizza loudly in the lounge room, but he probably finished his dinner by now.

Seemed over crowded for amound of toilets, size of kitchen and dining room. My milk was opened and used before I got to it, I had the first bowel out of my cereal box, then the next morning their was only one bowl left. This was not a problem for me but if I was staying longer I would have liked the rest of my food. For location, price, friendly staff and nice guests this place attracts, I would recomend staying here.

Nice place to stay, great value. Arrived really early and they would not check me in early, for like, no reason (not even 5 minutes early, made me wait till 2pm on the dot, only to get to a room with loads of vacant beds). Did let me use wifi and sit in the back garden while i waited though. My room lacked decent luggage storage, very unlike the pictures, but very much like what you would expect. Would gladly return.
