Perfect for the international bus station- especially if you have an early morning bus to Prague, Vienna etc with either Orangeways or Eurolines. Great shower,&comfy. Location is pretty ordinary for accessing any other part of Budapest. Im only saying that because often people dot look at where a hostel is, then they rate it low on location -whereas the hostel is actually really clean and awesome but located according to the bus or train stations which are OUTSIDE THE TOURISTY PARTS OF THE CITY.
What can I say - you can't go to Brasov and not stay at Kismet Dao. A word of warning though- its one of those hostels that you won't want to leave and you just keep booking another night. Lots of clean amenities, great kitchen, ace breakfast. Massively helpful staff. Great layout too. You can't hear Noise in the common room in the basement from the dorms- so a quiet nights sleep. I miss it!
Really cool communal areas. The staff are super helpful, give you good advise which is great in a city like Bucharest which isnt the most touristy place on earth. Enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen and outdoor areas with the other guests. -All clean, cozy....cannot fault it. Thanks guys! Awesome Hostel.
Lovely little arpartment and lovely owner. The owner only comes by to check people in - the only problem with that is that we had an uncalled for confrontation with the other girl "living there' when she and her two friends confronted my friend and I about leaving the toilet in a mess. A toilet we hadn't even used!. She was so intimidating and rude- she's obviously just another guest who feels a bit territorial about the place . No hostel staff would gang up on guests like that.

Really cool place- thanks Steve, Evie, Gabriel (I hope I got names right). You are so friendly a run a great hostel. Loved the fact that there are no top bunks, bathrooms and toilets clean, breakfast and coffee from the machine a bonus.
Really nice place- perfect for location near Barcelona Sants train station (which also services the Airport and is cheaper than the airport bus). Friendly reception, clean amenities and kitchen area. Couldn't really fault it.
One of my top three favourite hostels. The rooms are divided into Little apartments -so in slow season you may have one to yourself. Room is clean and place feels very new. cute doors that open out onto a balcony. Bathrooms and showers really nice. The free walking tours in Granada all come and collect guests from this hostel and they are awesome. They also organise a hike in Sierra Nevada for 10 euros which I definitely recommend doing. Breakfast is really nice, yoghurt inc (not just toast)
Wonderful. Nice dorms- seems very new. Location is great- easy to walk to from Placa Catalanya (where the airport bus stops) , They pick you up for the free walking tours around the Gaudi Buildings and Gothic Quarter. The kitchen was probably the best laid out in any hostel I've seen- really good for cooking a pasta etc. Only suggestion maybe a couple more hooks in the showers maybe, they are a bit cramped but no biggy- Loved this hostel!
WIth Very low price hostels you have to expect it will be "Basic", But if only the staff were friendlier -this can make even the most basic of hostel experiences more positive . I had two bookings and cancelled one too late (my bad), so they sent me an email authorising me to use the night (they charged to my visa ) when I got back from the Islands- when I arrived they told me to produce the email as though I was making it up. And 1 power outlet in a room of 6, really????
Awesome place- good location for Athens that has some bad areas.
This host understands travelling! Gets everyone together when they arrive and explains Split and shows you a map, and offers you a coffee. I'm so glad I chose this hostel- staying here was awesome. Josko you were a brilliant host and deserve the excellent ratings you get!
Great Hostel- Oksana a friendly face when you check in. Decent Wifi, comfy beds, clean toilets - awesome city!
Nice location in the Hutongs- Toilets a little pokey but overall a good hostel for the price. Would be easier if lockers were in the rooms rather than reception.
For the price- Brilliant Value- Showers were nice and clean- Beds in the dorm were comfortable. No coffee places nearby so the guy at the front desk made me one when I woke up in the morning- Just the kind of place you need to crash before a flight out and not too far for a taxi to get you to Hua Lamphong station. Location is Ok if you know your way round bangkok - about a 20 minute walk to Surasak train station - Definately will stay again
Great by comparisom with others Ive stayed at in Chunking Mansions- they're all small- thats just HK ;)
Great Value for Money The bedding is on the floor with some open windows and covered in a mosquito net which is actually better than a stuffy dorm. It felt clean comfy and I slept well without aircon- just a fan and fresh air- showers are not the greatest but for that price ....cannot complain.
Great hostel- a litle on the expensive side but it is much better than others offered in Chiang Mai
Awsome- easier to walk to from Sihanoukville than you'd think

Friendly place- Great value for Chiang Mai- I tried to extend and they were all booked up - so its obviously popular. Scooter hire was easy to arrange and the food and the BBQ night was great.

Really friendly place- A better location than Khao San Rd. Clean spacious rooms- good showers and toilet- Value
This was a wonderful place to stay- I was there for 10 nights and it was everything you want and need in a guesthouse. Threehouse is one of those hostels where its easy to meet friends and Bindi the owner is always there to point you in the direction of somewhere to eat, the right bus to catch or interesting stuff to do. The place is kept really clean with a comfy common room (heaps of movies :) and tidy kitchen and the character of the place absolutely deserves the number 1 ranking in Kuching.
Awesome stay here- no complaints- so clean and comfortable with a decent free breakfast. The food in the restaurant is great for when you are craving Western food.
Nice hostel- the free breakfast makes it value for money. Lockers were a bit small though. A bit confusing to find as its in Chullia Lane -not on the main Chullia street. Friendly guys at reception who organised a bus to Kuala Lumpur that actually picked me up from the door -so no hassles getting to the bus station
Friendly place- great value and nice clean common area to chill, watch TV, chat. Free breakfast a bonus and tea and coffee is there all day. Great for a KL stopover as its right near Pasar Seni Station and I felt perfect safe making my way there at 10pm from the Airport Train
Really great hostel for meeting people - great value for money considering the free breakfast and coffee. Lockers and only small and the only suggestion to make it perfect would be for power plugs next to each bed so you don't have to charge your phone on the floor over the other side of the dorm. The pillows are bit hard but overall nice, comfortable and convenient to get to from Pasi Seni train station
Really nice for a cheap stay in Shanghai but the atmosphere of the place was kind of unfriendly. The staff were not as friendly as other hostels I've stayed in china and don't talk to the guests much. The menu in the bar looked really promising with tabs for pizza and noodle dishes etc but when I opened the book it's all blank. :( rooms and beds all clean but I hardly spoke to anyone there.
Really great place- wish I had the time to stay longer and see what they had to offer in terms of Travel to Tibet. Their food over the bar was glorious and Cheap and its nice to know you can ask for something not so Spicy in Sichuan and they understand and may you what you want. Rabbit is awesome- I met her when she was working at another hostel I went to -so nice to see a friendly face to see when checking in ;)
These Guys are awesome. Hands down best hostel I've ever stayed in. Make sure you go to one of Mr Panda's dumpling parties or hot pot nights- there are friend for the making ;). The vibe of this place was so cool. I left after 7 days, I was supposed to stay for three. Its one of those hostels where everything just works and makes travellers feel so comfortable, the toilets: clean, the showers: clean: the pillows: big.
The Hostel itself is lovely- great place to start a Yangtze river cruise and they help you organise it, onward train tickets and all. Its lengthy to get to from the train station via the bus as described as it takes up to an hour in traffic but if youre planning a boat cruise down the river to your next destination, its the most practical place to stay. They could do with a little more lighting in the stairways, thats all
NIce place up an alley right at the end of West st. The directions could be a little clearer- You have to walk to the end of West St and turn right. Theres a small alleyway about 15 m away- the hotel is up there. My only word of warning- be prepared to carry a suitcase up 4 flights of stairs- so backpackers are better off. Roof top bar is super cool and West St has awesome nightlife.
Nice place- great banana pancakes for breakfast. Great organisation of tours. My only issue (and this isn't the Hostels fault) On the Rice Terrace tour that they organised for me-the guide who took us up the hill just left our group at the top of the Rice terrace and went back down without telling us- we had to find our own way back down the hill. When you get to the train or bus station -face the road and turn right at the intersection-If Id known that I woulnt've been ripped off by a taxi 25Y
Awesome hostel- one of the best in China - I could have stayed here for a week if Id had more time on my visa.
Given the brilliant location in Hong Kong, you have to expect a very tiny room- but its clean and didnt seem as dodgy as some of the other levels in Chunking Mansions- the owner or manager Andy was really nice.
