Only stayed here one night and wish I had stayed more. Staff are really friendly and helpful. They cook dinner every night for tips and will take you out also. Nice facilities, good wifi. Only minor complaint was the room was a little small and the shower stall even smaller.
Great hostel, super friendly staff. When I was running late for my train they wrapped up a few things from breakfast to take on my trip. Bathroom was always really clean. Not in the center of town but only a short walk away.
How many hostels have a rooftop jacuzzi? Lacks a bit in atmosphere because of the converted hotel layout but more than makes up for it in everything else.
Nice hostel and facilities, no bunk beds. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and adequate. Staff was very helpful booking tours. A little bit further to the town center but right next to the grocery store.
Had a great stay at Backpackers HQ. Met a lot of really great people and had a nice atmosphere. Kitchen was nice and the bathroos were ok. Most rooms have a window opening to the courtyard which closes at 10pm but can be a bit noisy the rest of the day.
Great hostel in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the supermarket and restaurants in Mt Eden. Rooms were nice and facilities were great. Only a short bus ride outside of cbd.
One of my favorite hostels. Only a 4 minute walk from everything downtown and every room has a fantastic view of the lake. Rooms, kitchens, bathrooms were all really nice. They even had extra gas for the grill the night we had a our own bbq. Would definitely stay here again.
A little bit of a walk to downtown but a nice quiet place with friendly people.
Great hostel in Mt Eden. Staff were incredibly friendly. No bunk beds. I don't think I've seen a cleaner hostel than this!
Nice breakfast with fresh fruit and eggs. You can also use the roof top terrace located on the 6th floor. We had air conditioning in our room which is a plus in summertime in Buenos Aires.
Nice hostel in the center of colonia. Good facilities, breakfast, internet. Everything you need for a day in Colonia.
Nice common area and pool, bathrooms, building. Kitchen could use a good cleaning and some new dishes.
Great party hostel. The pool was nice to lounge by all day. This place is new and well run and everything was clean and functioning. No kitchen for guests to use yet but they do serve food.
Feels like a hostel built by someone who has actually stayed in hostels before. Power outlet next to every bed, warm clean showers, nice kitchen, fresh fruit for breakfast, wifi in all the rooms, and across the street from the beach. Can't ask for anything else really.
Good location, wifi worked, nice lounge area, decent breakfast. No window in my room but there is air conditioning, make sure to ask to have it turned on before going to bed or it will get stuffy in the room.
An average hostel at an average price. Travel agency and reception were nice. Everything is as advertised.
Standard hostel in Buenos Aires. Bathrooms could have been a little nicer but the rooms were good. Lounge area was nice but lacked any kind of atmosphere.
My favorite hostel out of the 4 I have stayed at in Buenos Aires. A little bit quieter than the big hostels but still easy to meet other travellers. Fantastic roof terrace. Staff was always super friendly and helpful. Could use one more bathroom but never had to wait long.
The bathrooms are a bit small and run down and got dirty quickly after being cleaned in the morning. Breakfast was good. Rooftop was nice to cool off on at night at get away from the noise a bit.
Great showers that always had hot water. Hostel was in great shape, nice kitchen, and clean. Owner was helpful with questions about Torres del Paine. Free locker storage for the nights you are away on the trek. Wifi worked. Staff could have been slightly friendlier though they were helpful.
Excellent hostel with a fantastic owner. He really makes you feel at home. It located only a 5 minute walk to the city center along a backdrop of mountains. The tours offered there were a good value. After we went kayaking on a cold day he made a fire and some hot chocolate to warm us up. Couldn't have had a better time there. Internet worked, showers were hot, beds had enough blankets to keep you warm.
A great hostel to meet people in Barrio Bellavista. Located right near the main strip. Had two nice patios to hang out in and made it really easy to meet other people at the hostel. Staff were always nice and helpful but not always attentive. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice social hostel. Showers were always warm and internet worked the whole time i was there. Some of the rooms were cold at night and could have used and extra blanket.
One of the nicest hostels I stayed through 4 months of travelling South America. Very clean, staff was professional, friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast wasn't included and was a little expensive but good. Bottom bunk in the bunk beds didn't have much head room. Other than that the beds were very comfortable and had nice blankets and pillows. Good location on a quiet street near everything in town including the bus station.

A hotel converted to a hostal. Nice rooms, many are double rooms with bathroom which are easier to book than the few dorm rooms they have. They had a problem with the water the second day I was there and were nice enough to book me in another hostal. Staff was always very helpful. Booked lake Titicaca tour through them. Had hot water(when there was water) and wifi and tv in the rooms.
Great rooms, very friendly and helpful owner. A little pricey and further away from towns but the rooms make up for it.
