Lovely hostel - stayed in the female 12 dorm, nice and airy and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely staff and good free breakfast in the kitchen in the morning. Only bad thing is location - it is in Hendon which is London Zone 3, quite far out of the city if you like to have everything on your doorstep, but it is only a 20+min tube into the centre. I would recommend if you're looking for somewhere quieter and more relaxed than city centre.

Nicest hostel I've stayed in, it's in Clapham just outside central London. Clapham has a nice feel and it's easy to forget you're in a big city. it's a short tube/bus journey from the centre (Clapham in Zone 2) so that should be considered during your stay, but buses run all day and night so not a problem. The hostel is relaxed, clean and friendly and I had a good stay. Pros: good value, clean, free breakfast, generally nice place to stay . Cons: location, no kitchen.

Great place to stay if you just want to sleep, not so good if you are there for more of a couple of days as there is no atmosphere and it is a struggle to chat to people. Staff are good fun and helpful. Standard breakfast served in the morning, free of charge. Some nice communal rooms with a television. All dorm bunk beds have curtains so great for privacy. Not a bad hostel.
