what a nice place in Florence. really great thought through hostel and great facilities. i stayed with my girl at a 2-bed room and it was just like in a hotel. onl bad thing is, the bed makes alot of noise. another negative thing is there wasn't that much of a hostel-feeling around in my opinion. lots of groups who didnt really looke to meet new people. well i wasnt either because i already had my company. all in all i'd still recommend it to young travellers. might go pack with some friends....
whatta freaken awsome place!! we (two swiss friends, m, both 22) had a crazy time at this place and whole of Budapest. definitely will be back for another wicked weekend full of partying and fun. there were alot of australians but they're fun.
pros: rooms are very well thought through with power-charges and a light at every bed. the rooms are very big and theres alot of space so you don't step on eachothers as in other hostels. theres a huge locker under every bed to store your suitcase. the all you can eat breakfast for €3.- is cool. contras: the common room isnt very cozy in my opinion, couldn't meet alot of other travellers. my room only had curtains, so there was too much light to sleep when you come home in the morning/noon/after
we (two guys both 22yrs), had a cool time at this place. there's a cool common area, nice staff, fine kitchen. the whole hostel is very well thought through. for example: there are electronic plug-ins on the side of every single bed. it's a nice walk next to the river to go to the city center. it's definitely the place to be if you're a young traveller going to Lyon.
whattan awsome place. we (two guys both 22yrs) had a great time here. free breakfast and free pasta in the evening included. cool bar area but not very cheap unless there is happyhour. they hook you up for clubs to get in free or at least cheaper every night, even during low season and during the week and theres still alot going on. only bad thing: there are only plug-in's to charger you electronic devices downstairs in the bar. not one single one in the rooms. the guy at the reception was rude.
we (two guys, both 22yrs) had a good time at this place. theres a nice bar and 0.5L of beer is only €1.- at happyhour. you can easily walk to the main sights and the bar area of Nice. only bad thing: in our room we didnt have enough lockers for everyone. all in all i can really recommend this place to young travellers.
pro: its not too far from the metro station, you can park your car for free inside the gates, the beds were comfy. contra: there was no hostel-atmosphere at all, there were no signs to find the hostel in this big ''clinic-kind-of-area'', we had to climb over the main-gates of this clinic-thing when we came home at night, which is about 3.5 meters high and kind of dangerous to climb. well at least we had a place to sleep at. i guess... we were two guys (both 22yrs) for one night in milano.
Had a great stay over the weekend with three of my friends (all guys, early twenties)! we all came from switzerland for a quick stay to explore munich and of course party. the bar is very chill and got buzzed as soon as the happy hour started. cheap drinks and good atmosphere as always with so many international people at one place. can't say anything bad about this place. well, maybe they could put the check-out time from 10am (as now) to 12 noon. if you had a crazy night, 10 might be too early
It's a pretty cool Hostel. The smoking area gets very crowded in the evenings though and you might have to be standing. the bar is cozy and cute. had a good experience and would recommend to other young travellers who are looking for the spirit of Amsterdam:)
I had a good time staying at this place. really enjoyed the halloween party. you guys should do stuff like that more. almost every young traveller likes partys ;)
Had a great time at this place. good atmosphere good location and clean.
Venice Lagoon House is a nice Guesthouse with a great Owner. It's very familiar but you still have your privacy in your room. In my opinion it's a great Location if you don't wanna spend to much money on a Hotel/Hostel on the Venezia-Island. From the Guesthouse you walkt about 8 minutes to the Bus Station which takes you to the Venice Island in about 20minutes (One-Way-Ticket: Euros 1.50). In the Village (Tessera, IT) there are a few Bars/Restaurants, FastFood open until late, and a Supermarket.
don't expect too much at this hostel. one of the receptionist was very unfriendly and didn't even look at our eyes and bearly talked. there was another nice dude though. it was a very small and cold room (we were two dudes, both 21, april 13). the location is fine though. a 5 min walk to the beach and stores and restaurants. if you wanna party you need to take a bus or taxi. all in all its fine for what you pay for.
my friend and me (both guys, both 21) had an amazing time at hostel yellow. the staff is really friendly, the rooms and bathrooms very clean, it's close to termini station and you get to know other travellers really really fast, since there is a cool bar and an even cooler party-room in the basement. would definitely come here again when i'm in rome. book it unless you don't like meeting other people.
don't expect anything more than the bed you paid for. the girl and the guy at the reception didn't even say a 'hi' nor 'welcome' or anything. they also weren't able to give me change when i payed with bank notes. at least the bed was really confy.
