This hostel was in a gorgeous location - near enough to Barrio Italia to pop out for a drink or food, but close enough to the centre to walk. The hostel owner provided everything you need and had a pretty low maintenance, seen it all kind of vibe. The breakfast was good and included eggs, bread and spreads, and the communal areas and wifi were great! The hostel seemed like a comfortable, social, and friendly space. I barely spent any time in the hostel, sadly, but left kind of wishing I had.

This hostel was great! It had a relaxed vibe, heaps of outdoor hangout space, and lovely rooms. Kitchen was a bit small but had everything you needed to make yourself a yummy meal. It also had laundry facilities and bike hire. It’s super close to the centre of town and on the main restaurant strip, with great places to eat and drink nearby. Staff were really helpful and lovely. Thank you!!

The staff at this hostel were super helpful and can book you in for tours v easily if you don’t want to hunt down tours on your own. The tours they chose out for us were great and seemed good value for money (though it’s hard to know in San Pedro, as there are just so many tours and offers and it’s quite overwhelming and hard to know what’s what). The facilities were great- lovely courtyard to hang out in, hot showers, functional kitchen to make food, and the double room was perfect. Thanks !!

This hostel had everything anyone would need- it was clean, had heaps of facilities and a great breakfast spread. We didn’t spend much time there so can’t comment on atmosphere etc- but the staff were lovely and very happy to help and the hostel had a good vibe
That is the perfect reason to come back and stay with us again! Thanks for the lovely comment HF <3

This hostel ticked all the boxes but didnt excel in any. There was a nice common area with a kitchen for self catering and a lounge with books and magazines for hanging out. Unfortunately when I was there it was completely dead and not great for meeting ppl. It would be great if the hostel facilitated some social activities as its a great space! The breakfast isnt great healthwise. Just sweet breads and croissants, crackers, nutella and cornflakes. Some museli/rye bread/fruit wouldnt go astray.

The best thing about this hostel was its homeliness. I had 2 nice evenings on the balcony, listening to music and hanging in the common area. Its colorful and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. It was at times dirty but I would say thats a problem with the guests not the hostel. The receptionist was sometimes hard to locate which was stressful if in a rush but in general I liked the relaxed atmosphere. Cons: it was small, so didnt seem to have many other lone travellers

This hostel was more like a hotel but with none of the luxury. The common areas were expansive but empty, and there was no facilities for self-catering at all, not even a kettle for cups of tea. The free computer was slow, and wifi costs money. They gave me my own room even though I booked a dorm, which was clean and a bargain BUT it made it impossible to meet anyone, which was important as I was travelling alone. The staff seemed bored and uninterested helping travellers.

This was the best hostel I have stayed in so far. It was not only clean, but had colour and style! The common areas were great, the kitchen well equipped (though it needs some teaspoons and mugs) and the rooms homely and spacious. The bar was well stocked and chilled. Even better than the actual building were the staff!! They made an effort to know your name, have a chat, and they were more than helpful when I bombarded them with questions every morning. The breakfast was also great! THANKYOU!!
Can we thank you too? Thanks for the good vibe!

This hostel has amazing views as promised! The bar has nice food, cheap enough drinks and awesome staff. The hostel staff are very helpful, fun and friendly. If you like to PARTAY there are organised events you can sign up for every night, complete with fairly priced transport. One warning- if you dont like jocks, dont stay here! Full of vain topless men who drink all day and and talk about Brazilian womens bottoms. Also, the kitchen could be cleaner and better equipped.
