The place to be in SC (stayed 7days). The rooms can get quiet cold especially if there was no sun at daytime but they provide 2 additional blankets and most important, the shower is clean and very hot. A big plus is the fireplace in the common room & the kitchen. Breakfast is superb and we miss already their homemade jam! Regarding Hyena the old Dog, they should provide him a nicer place to sleep and there's really no need to kick him out of the warm common room if all guests are happy with him.
Stayed in a private room for 4 nights. Location is excellent, Cleanliness is good, you just have to ask to get your room cleaned or new towels etc. and it's surprisingly quiet after 1pm. Expected worth as it is one of San Pedro's so called Party Hostels. Breakfast is good. But that's it. We found plenty other places for the same price but with way better facilities. WiFi is a joke, "Hot" shower is dangerous. The Guard at Night is sleeping with locked gates, so try to leave the building early...
Booked for 2 nights a private room & stayed 7. For us the location was just perfect but we were looking for a place a little bit "outside" (the center is still walkable in 15 min. or just a short tuktuk ride for 5q - fixed rate). 5 Minutes to walk and you are at the lake, perfect for sunset! Rooms are comfy, with TV and common areas to chill. Very secure house and the rabbit and turtle in the garden are fun to watch. Best shower we had in Guatemala. Rooftop is superb! Kitchen was a big plus.

We stayed in one of their private rooms, facing the open kitchen in the back of the super tasty restaurant downstairs. So be prepared to get hungry all the time because of the smell. It's a nice place to stay in Flores, super friendly owner and staff. Would be good to get the room cleaned from time to time (didn't happened within the 3 nights we stayed there). No TV in room but working WiFi. Room gets quite hot but they provide the biggest fan we ever had in a room.
We stayed 2 nights in the cramped 8 bed mixed dorm. Very clean, big locker, Fan is perfect and AirCon is ice cold (we asked to switch it off). No WiFi in Room and a too small common area inside. There are no keys but you get a wristband that you have to wear. Location is superb. Breakfast is basic. Flakes, Banana and Coffee. But the biggest Joke is that they are selling 5 Bed Dorms that doesn't even exists! No excuses, just asking for payment. It could be great place but like this ...
Location is perfect if you arrive / leave by ADO Bus. It's just a 10 minute walk. We stayed in the private room and it was okay. Could be cleaner, Toilets are in Room and only covered by a small wall that is open to the top. Just some small "garden windows" without a mosquito net. Breakfast is basic but good. Coffee, Eggs, fresh fruits and some bread. Hot water was hot. All in all the place could need some renovations & a serious cleanup. The Owner Rafa is a funny guy and atmosphere was great.
Stayed in one of the privates. The Rooms are opposite of the toilets so it's not ideal not having a window that you can close. There's just a net to keep the mosquitos out. No WiFi in Room but in the Outdoor Kitchen
Superb location but still quite at night, friendly & attentive Staff and big Room (stayed in the 3rd Floor). Terrace is perfect for having your free Breakfast and enjoying the sounds from the Djemaa El Fna. If they put a little bit more attention to some small details it could be a perfect stay (bathroom smells - we closed the drains with a plastic bag and it was fine - , no shower curtain, nothing to hang the towel, more staff for breakfast). WiFi in our room and Terrace was working fine.
Giving away 100% doesn't happen often when reviewing a Hostel We stayed in a private room - ensuite bathroom and it was just perfect. The Hostel and rooms are really nice decorated, it's very clean, owner & staff are all very nice, location is superb and easy to find, rooftop terrace has one of the best views over the Town and the optional breakfast for 25 mad only is also great. It's not the cheapest but without doubt one of the best in Chefchaouen!
We stayed in a Private Room with Ensuite Bathroom which isn't located in the main building but with all other Private Rooms in a separate Building around the corner (comes also with big kitchen & cosy common room with TV & fast WiFi). Because of this it's really quiet at night and that was exactly what we were looking for. All in all it was a very good experience and the only - was the missing Wifi in the Room.
We booked for 4 nights 2 beds in the 4 bed Dorm and checked out after the 1st night. We stayed in many Hostels around the world but never had to deal with things like just 1 key per Room or that the staff lets an old guy, totally drunk, with no luggage, into the dorm at 4 in the night (behaving like no other hostel I know would accept). After complaining, staff didn't even bothered to check the room. Sayed that, the Pub downstairs is really loud until 3am. There are much better places to stay.
We stayed in a private Room within the nice House on the Hill. Great view, cozy house and very nice spacious sleeping room. The big and good equipped kitchen was also a big Plus. Strange is that it's not possible to lock the door of your room when leaving so everyone could enter it. No problem if you have a car and can keep important things (laptop etc.) with you. Big Minus was the WiFi. Only available in the common room (meant for us we needed to walk down the hill first) and very very slow.
We booked 3 nights and stayed 7, that should say it all. Location is perfect, great Mountain view from the Terrace and our Room, near to the lake and all the restaurants, bars etc. but on a quiet side road. Room was big, comfy bed and super clean. 24/7 hot water and working WiFi. Great Breakfast in a nice, sunny garden. Lovely owners who will tell you everything you need to know to find your way around Pokhara.
Booked a private Room but we had to stay the 1st night in a Dorm because of overbooking and obviously they prefer Agoda Customers. That said, Location is great, right in the Center of Chinatown. Breakfast is very basic and so are the rooms. Free lockers and WiFi is a plus. The entrance door to the reception sounds like an old castle gate, so everytime someone comes in you wake up. Staff is busy with their baby and playing games. There are other Hostels in KK with better value.
We stayed 3 nights in an private room with shared bathroom. Room was quite big, with window and AirCon. There are enough toilets and showers available so no queues in the morning. I can't remember when we stayed in a Hostel that was so clean like this! 5 of 5 Stars for that! Team is nice and helpful. Booked a Tour to Nature Lodge, good prices. Location is great, no need to walk a lot, right next to Restaurants, Shopping Center and the Waterfront. Common room & WiFi are also great.
Stayed there for 3 nights and it was a very good experience! Lovely team, great location, huge room and we enjoyed all our tours with their recommended TukTuk driver a lot. Breakfast was good too. A big Bonus is their Rooftop Terrace with a small Pool and nice view. Only - Point, there was no strong WiFi in our Room (rooftop room) but they told me about it before checkin so it wasn't really a problem but easy to fix. On our next trip to Siem Reap you will see us again ;-)
Booked for 3 nights and stayed 6, that should said it all. Nice Manager who knows all the good places nearby. Super clean rooms and facilities. Strong WiFi, free Water and location next to the MRT is good too. Try the small chinese breakfast shop around the corner! Great chinese pancake and sandwiches.
Lovely Heritage House, perfect Location next to Love Lane. If you want to explore Georgetown it´s a great place. Stayed in the private room next to the Bathrooms / WiFi Area and without windows. We could hear everything. Breakfast basic western but nice to have and for free. Helpful staff with good english. All in all, can recommend to stay there.
Our 2nd stay and this time we booked the superior double bed room (last night in Sri Lanka). Nice big room, clean bathroom with huge mirrors, comfy mattress (best we had in sri lanka), WiFi, big Balcony, nice and helpful owners & staff. The street Lewis Place is the perfect location to explore the neighbourhood and of course the beach (3 Min. walk!). Short drive to the Airport (15-20 Min.) and City Center. Also easy to reach by local train from Colombo. cu next time!
Me and my wife stayed for 2 nights. Nice Room, Balcony, Mosquito Nets , WiFi and very helpful and nice Owners & Staff. The Rooftop Restaurant needs his time to prepare the food but it´s worth waiting for it. Location is perfect if you want to stay in a quite area overlooking the hills and woods. It´s just a 10 - 15 Min. walk to the Kandy Lake and there are always TukTuk´s to bring you down / up if you want. Nothing to complain ah ok 1 thing. Beer could be cooler at the Restaurant ;-)
My wife and I stayed at the 4 Bed dorm for 1 night (1st night sri lanka) and it was pretty good. Clean room with big lockers, comfy mattress (best we had in sri lanka), WiFi, common Terrace, nice and helpful owners & staff. The street Lewis Place is the perfect location to explore the neighbourhood and of course the beach (3 Min. walk!). Short drive to the Airport (15-20 Min.) and City Center. Also easy to reach by local train from Colombo. We enjoyed our stay and came back for our last night.
Apple is inside the unfamous chungking mansion so the location is awesome. Right next to the walk of stars, hundreds of restaurants, shopping and the bar district. Within 10 Minutes you walked to the pier to catch a ferry. Subway right around the corner. Room is very small but enough to sleep and with a small window to get some light. It´s really clean, fresh towels every day etc. Nice Staff and Strong WiFi. Security at the Elevator day/night and never had to wait more than 10 Min. to get it.
Really nice staff, perfect location, quiet at night, clean, free WiFi and Internet Stations etc... We´ll come back :-)
Stayed there in a private room for some days. Room was big, bed was comfortable, fridge, aircon and a fan are a plus but feeling was like being in a prison. Very unpersonal. You can hear everything because of the echo in the floor. Common room is hot like hell, no aircon. Not very clean. Bathroom / Shower wasn´t cleaned up while our whole stay! Used and empty shower gel tubes everywhere. No WiFi and 1 of only 2 PC´s with internet wasn´t working. On our 1st day, there was no Internet at all.
Free WiFi, good and enough breakfast that´s already open in the early morning. Clean bathroom and kitchen, nice pool and garden. Cosy TV Room. Booked a private room and this a trailer in the garden where we can sit in front on our own terrace. Really nice and different to other places. Extended my stay for some days. Nice staff, secure and free luggage storage while we where on tour. There´s also a supermarket right around the corner.
Stayed there in a private room. Bathroom wasn´t cleaned before we checked in. Dirty and full of hair. The whole place isn´t really clean at all. They also have problems with Bed Bugs and many guests had bites. You can´t regulate the Aircon temp or switch it off. Staff, some friendly and helpful some not. 1 of 2 fridges was working. It´s not allowed to bring or drink own alcohol. WiFi is the public WiFi of the City . TV wasn´t working. No free pickup from train station like they say on website.
Stayed there for 7 days and really liked the place, staff and location. Unfortunately one of us received at the last day BedBug Bites (our mattress in room 8 was really messed up ... Couch in TV Room wasn´t really clean too). Free WiFi would be nice.
Stayed 2 nights in a 6 bed dorm and 3 in a private. Location and the Facilities are really good. They have a nice Backyard also. This is a good and a bad thing because ignorant people are using it every night to play very loud music and getting drunk and behave very badly until next morning. Nothing special in Australia I know but at this place there´s no Staff at night. Sleeping was on 3 of 5 nights impossible. Close the Backyard or get Staff for the Night. Other Hostels can manage it also!

Stayed for some nights in a 4 Bed Dorm. No window, no fan and they shut down the aircon when temp is above 35?! There where 8 lockers for the whole hostel, of course all occupied. Asked the staff about that and they offered me to leave my stuff at the reception. Would be ok if the reception wouldn´t be closed between afternoon and morning ... Kitchen was always dirty and is also too small. Supermarket 20 min walk. Positiv: Nice Balcony, not noisy, free Wifi and cosy common room.
Stayed for some nights in a private room. House is really nice but room was very small with 2 beds only, nothing to store clothes etc., and just a really small window to the corridor. It was really smelly also. Despite that it was clean and quite after 10 in the evening. Location is ok but you have to walk some minutes to the free cat bus and supermarket. WiFi is expensive (we changed to another hostel near Northbridge Piazza and there it´s free).
Stayed there for some nights in 10 dorm, room was really small but I think that´s everywhere in Chinatown. Most ;-) of the staff are very friendly and helpful and everything was really clean. Breakfast is good, location perfect. If I come back to Singapore I´ll stay there again.
Stayed there for some days in a twin room with shared bathroom. Really nice place, wonderful quiet garden to relax outside, tasty breakfast with local food and a really nice staff / family. Location is also good, River and Jonker Street are in walking distance (10 - 15 Minutes). Easy to find and you´ll see the life in the village.
Amazing Beds, nice Staff, perfect Location to explore the City, Chinatown Nightmarket with lots of great food just a 5 Mins. walk . Great Rooftop Bar with good view (Music could be better, ABBA? Michael Jackson? Gangnam Style?). We stayed on the 2nd floor, right below the rooftop bar. It´s really loud but they told us before ;-) Upper Bed is a little bit difficult to climb up/down after some beers. It´s really high.
Location is good, right next to the Maruti Temple and most good places of Panaji are in walking distance. Area is quiet and safe also. The House looks very good, old goa style but the rooms are very basic. Beds crackle everytime you move around. There´s no fridge and also no TV BUT you´ll get a small breakfast. All in all a nice place to stay but you can find cheaper places with same or even better facilities in this area.
Nice, modern place to stay but more like a normal Hotel. Location is good, everything in walking distance. So why not 100%? When we arrived WiFi wasn´t working and except of 2 young kids (perhaps 14 years old?) there´s no one else in charge for their guests (never had this before, also not in India). After they fixed it, it was still very slow. Kitchen? There´s an extra room with a fridge and kitchen sink, but thats all. No Tea-Kettle, no Toaster, nothing to prepare food / drinks.
We had a really great stay here (8 nights). Location is perfect, right next to some good restaurants, a big supermarket and the Bus stop. The famous Flea Market and the Beach Area is in walking distance (10 - 15 Minutes). You can rent here also scooters for reasonable prices. Good for meeting people but quiet in the night. Perfect to relax! You have a small terrace in front of the room to enjoy the beautiful garden. Very helpful and lovely owner. Thanks Sebastiana for the good time!
Really nice Staff und perfect service and location but you have to do some renovations in your rooms and get a better internet connection. It was really to slow.
