Emre Cave House

Goreme, Turkey

Very friendly, family-run guesthouse. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We just wish we stayed longer. Be sure to try their Menemen breakfast......absolutely delicious!

Galata West

Istanbul, Turkey

Friendly and helpful staff. The 6th floor common area has a wonderful view but sadly the customers often leave it in a mess....along with the kitchen. Regardless of the mess, we enjoyed the great view every morning. Breakfast is very basic ( bread and preserves) but included in the room price so no complaints. 24 hour desk was very helpful for us. Thanks for a great stay.

Battambang My Homestay

Battambang, Cambodia

Amazing, interesting, hospitable, family-run guesthouse. A true gem. The owners are extremely proud of building their guesthouse "dream" and it shows with every interaction with them from the traditional breakfasts to the nightly, delivered fruit and water. New, extremely clean, and very welcoming. Kun is very proud of his country and is excited to show it off to you with a suggested itinerary and excellent tuk tuk drivers/guides. Our driver, Nicky, was another highlight of our short stay. +++++

HQ (headquarter) of Nove Sujashvili

Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), Georgia

Newly renovated (currently under construction) hostel. Excellent host wit pretty good English. Nove fed us a great breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed her company. We stayed in a 4 bed room that was very comfortable with excellent mattresses....the best we have had in Georgia so far!. Clean, newly renovated bathroom and bedroom. No wifi yet so it it is absolutely necessary you must confirm before booking. Hostel situated in Gergerti side so closer to the monastery when walking.

Guesthouse in Batumi

Batumi, Georgia

The family is very friendly and hospitable. The son, Misha speaks English very well and the daughter ( I forget her name) speaks English as well. Individual rooms with a nice lounging area outside the doors. The only problem was that there was mold in the room and due to my wife's severe mold allergy, we were not able to stay in the room. The hosts were very hospitable and offered us their guestroom within their home! They even fed us breakfast which was not part of the deal. Very quiet.
