Was in a great location in the centre of Edinburgh. We had a small apartment that included a kitchen (although shared bathroom). The value for what we paid was excellent.
The room we had (a twin private) was great, it was large and there was heaps of room to spread out in. The only downfall was it was sooooooooo noisy at night. Even though there were signs telling people to be quite it was noisy every night we were there until around 4 or 5am. This made it hard to have a good nights sleep. It also didn't help that there is a pub just up the road and the windows aren't double glazed so there was noise from that as well.
Everything about Regent Hostel was pretty good; however, even though breakfast was due to start at 7:30am one of the days we needed to leave early it still hadn't started by 7:50am so we missed breakfast that day.
The Naughty Squirrel was a fantastic hostel! The place was always clean and the hostel provided excellent drink specials. All over a fantastic stay!!
Hostel was in a great position, a 5 minute walk from the Old Town and there was a supermarket nearby. As many reviews have mentioned they are doing extensive renovations which are noticeable; however, when it is finished it should make the hostel pretty good! Others have also mentioned that the showers are not very private (which the communal ones aren't); however there is a private shower on the second level which is fine.
CheapSleep was great for a budget stay in Helsinki (where everything is expensive!). The staff were great and the common area and kitchen were big and had all the facilities you needed. Situated slightly out of town but there were heaps of trams and buses to get you there.
Great hostel!! Rooms were very spacious, kitchen had everything we needed, and even had a sauna. We especially loved the meatball making night thanks to the great teacher Kevin! We'll definatley be back.
Was a great stay. The night we were there one of the hostel workers cooked a BBQ of whole fish, salad and bread for 15turkish lira, it was amazing! In a great position too.
Great position for exploring London. Although there was no kitchen so a long stay would not be possible.
We only stayed one night but the 12 bed dorm room beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There was also a big kitchen to use to make dinner if you wanted. Very close to the bus station which was good.
Was a short 5 to 10 minute walk from town. The kitchen was huge and had most things you needed to cook your own meals. We stayed in a private room and the bed was comfortable and the room was always warm.
Snoozles was one of the best hostels we've stayed in. Our private room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was also very clean and well equipped to cook your own meals. The hostel is also around the corner from the bus station and a 5 minute walk to the centre of town.
Mount Eccles was a little out of the heart of Dublin but was only a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen was big and had most things you need to cook a meal.
Hostel in a great area, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Valencia's old town centre. The kitchen facilities were great, although no oven. Very clean and the staff were great.
Not the cleanest hostel, but for a couple of days stay it wasn't too bad. Dorm rooms were very tight, no room at all for luggage. Also, on the last day of our stay someone stole our food, not a nice end to our stay.
The location of the hostel was great, we didn't need the car for the 3 days that we were in Salisbury. Kitchen facilities were great, the staff were always helpful, and the common living room was a lovely place to unwind after a busy day.
Paul, the hostel owner, was amazingly helpful and always willing to have a chat about what was good to do in the area. Hostel itself was clean and the rooms were warm. However, you need a car to enjoy the area.
Very happy with the place. Friendly staff, clean, beds were comfortable and private, fellow travelers respectful. WiFi service good, Microwave and Fridge available. Would stay there again.
