The staff were wonderful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The common areas, including the bathrooms, were extremely cold all the time which did not make for a pleasant showering experience. Not a bad hostel overall but have stayed at better.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful breakfast and excellent owner. It is a bit of a walk to and from the centre of town but there is no rush here so it was not a problem. Reception is not manned at any set time so you just have to hope to see the owner but she is about during the mornings.

Great breakfast, comfortable beds, hot showers and friendly staff. The showers are hotter with less water pressure.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place has a real homely feel and the owner is lovely and extremely helpful. We booked all our trips through here and were very happy. Quite place, good for couples or people wanting a good rest at night.

Breakfast was excellent and beds very comfortable. Can be noisy if you have a room facing the street and the bathrooms are not very clean. Had to ask twice in one day to get toilet paper in the upstairs bathrooms. Staff were friendly but often not around. Good facilities though and would still recommend.

Wow what a great place to stay. The owners could not make you feel any more welcome and are able to assist with any questions. Such great local knowledge was fantastic. The place has a great atmosphere and the breakfast was delicious. Close bike ride to town, beach and ruins.

Marcus, the owner, was excellent in explaining how easy it is to get into town. Granted, the hostel is located slightly away from the main drag, but he informed us where to get the collectivos (a great and cheap way to travel with the locals - a fraction of the price of a taxi, too). Overall, a clean, relaxed and comfortable place to stay.

Clean, comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here. Good location and some great tours offered through the hostel. Late night receptionist has no idea what is going on though but perhaps she is new.
