Booked 2 nights and stayed for 10! Sea and Forest hostel is probably the best hostel we've stayed in. Beautiful cabins kept immaculately clean nestling in the forest above Trindade. The staff were brilliant, and so was the cake each morning. Would go back in a flash.

Very cheap hostel in Buzios. Staff were really friendly and very helpful, it's less than 5 minutes walk to Geriba beach and even closer to the nearest supermarket. Unfortunately, the bathroom was really dirty, and there was only one for the house so there was always a wait. The pool didn't look very clean either.

Thanks Dave. The problem of the bath was for a malfunction of the water pump as well as made it difficult to change the pool water for two days. apologies :)

Your Place Hostel

Your Place Hostel is incredibly well looked after. Rooms, bathrooms and common areas were absolutely spotless. Kitchen is very well equipped, the breakfast was great. The location, while not all that close to main bus terminal is only a 5 minute walk from the stop for the falls and the airport. There is even a free evening meal, although we weren't back in time to have it.

Location right opposite the bus stop is ideal. Staff are really helpful. There's a pretty well equipped outdoor kitchen.

Great hostel, 5 minutes from the subte, and about the same distance to the park. Really good atmosphere, always people to chat to in the courtyard.

We were only in MV for one night so can't say too much about the location. Staff were helpful. Always a wait for the toilet!

Really nice hostel, about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal and 5 minutes from the old part of town. There's a kitchen and decent breakfast. Rooms are air-conditioned and clean. We asked for help with booking our onward bus tickets, and because it wasn't a service they sold tickets for they were no help at all. They said there was only one bus at 6am, whereas in fact there were buses running all day with other companies. Bit of a shame.

Baluch Backpackers Hostel

Cordoba, Argentina

The staff at Baluch were really great, they were friendly and were able to organise our excursions and bus tickets. The breakfast is awesome! Cook your own eggs. Downside is the location, the more interesting part of the city, with museums, bars, restaurants and markets is about haf an hour away. Our room was by the stairwell and people coming in at night made a lot of noise.

Great place to stay in Arequipa. Really secure location, less than 10 minutes walk from the main square. The girls that work there are amazing, so helpful. They organised our trip to Colca Canyon and our transfer to Puno. Couldn't have asked for more! Cool dog to!

This hostel is ok for a short stay in Lima. It's about 10 minutes walk from most of the bars and restaurants in Miraflores. Very disappointing though - we told the staff on arrival we wanted to check out one night early, and they were not at all accommodating. They insisted on charging us for the night. They were able to organise our bus tickets which was helpful!

Great little guest house. Facilities are basic, but there's everything you need. The thing that makes it great is the family, we were made to feel at home and helped with everything we needed from the moment we walked through the door!

Our room was opposite the downstairs toilet, and constantly smelled of sewage. Poor Internet connection... Great view from the bar though!
