This is a fab little hostel. With only 10 beds, its small enough to feel homely and get to know other guests. Its no frills, but has everything you could need for a stay in Bonito. Jenny and Carlos are extremely helpful and friendly, always on-site to answer any queries, make bookings. It´s exceptionally clean and well organised for such a small place - very decent bedding and large shower area ! Very well priced for what can be an expensive part of Brazil! I would highly recommend.
We couldnt recommend this hostel/guest house more highly. We stayed in a private room which had some of the most comfortable bed and cushions that we have had for the whole of our trip! Excellent facilities outside, including a swimming pool, hammocks, bbq and many sun loungers and place to chill, that wouldnt be out of place in a hotel! Lovely! Staff were very helpful and genuinely friends, lots of information about the locality and different trips to the falls and the dam.
Really great hostel right by the beach. Superb family run place with great facilities and a really brilliant breakfast. A true sign of a place that is top notch, when they lay out the full works for breakfast even though there are only two of you in it. Great that a locker came with the room ! Very happy with my stay !
I wouldnt recommend this hostel. The dorm rooms are grotty with broken cupboards and a general sense of being old and worn. There are two bathrooms on one floor for several dorm rooms - Tiles missing from the walls, electrical wires (albeit taped) hanging from the ceiling, broken paper towel dispenser (no paper towel), no sign of hand soap and it was regularly out of toilet paper. Breakfast was two not fresh slices of bread with a piece of ham. Terrible !
