There are at least 3 Rising Dragon chains in the area, take note of which one you're staying at! It's right in the tourist area so easy walking distance to night markets and restaurants and a short bus ride to the main landmarks of Hanoi. The hotel is quiet and the staff are lovely.
Stones is the perfect place, right on the beach you can wake up and take a morning swim. Mornings are chilled, the nights pump up the beach party with good music, staff are friendly. Beds are typically quite hard but you'll probably be drunk. Could hear music from the dorm rooms but id rather be on the beach, and the music shuts down at 1:30am anyway
Close to the tube station. Maybe about 15-20mins into the Soho area, which isn't too bad. The bathroom in my room was pretty tiny and got water all over the floor and into the bedroom also... The shower curtain wasn't very effective. Wifi in the rooms is great, beds are comfy. Not a party type hostel.
Hostel is small and quiet to relax in. Full kitchen and free breakfast, friendly staff. Not enough power points in the rooms though; only one socket in an 8 bed room. Good place to chill out in Catania, especially close to the train station and port.
The staff here are brilliant, helpful and friendly as soon as you walk in the door and will offer advice on what to do in Naples. About a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and close to a metro stop. The only big issue was lack of power points in the room to charge equipment over night, and the bathroom/shower facilities were a bit old with build up dirt. Overall a good place to stay though
Hostel is on Giudecca, so it is a quiet island for a hostel. While the Generator has awesome facilities and a great bar it was pretty quiet for the duration of the stay, although this was October. Maybe run some events in the evening? No privacy in the showers either, the doors are practically transparent so can see right through when people are showering
The hostel needs to break open its 'Feedback Box' in the lobby, seems overflowing with unread cards. The main issue here is WiFi... If there is a pool, sauna, Turkish bath etc surely Internet should be no issue? Don't plan on using your wireless devices here, even at reception, however there is a room with 6-7 computers to use. Breakfast is €6!!! Don't even bother! Staff were friendly though, bathrooms fine, beds fine with a lockable cupboard. FIX YOUR WIFI!!!
A must stay hostel in Rome. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are sufficient and clean, wifi throughout the entire building. Only 5 minutes walk from Termini station makes it ideal with luggage. About a 20-30 minute walk to main sights or get the metro. Bar downstairs is great, food and drinks relatively well priced and plenty of restaurants surrounding. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Rome!
If you're looking to party in your hostel don't stay here. If you want a peaceful stay amongst the fun and craziness of Madrid I would recommend this. Great little place to chill after a big night. The staff are lovely but speak limited english, but the woman tried her best to answer my question and we got it in the end :) own kitchen and laundry available. Right near Sol station and a Starbucks next door for your morning coffee. It's the perfect home away from home
Great hostel RIGHT where you want to be in Barcelona, in the heart of everything. Friendly staff, everything in walking distance, great wifi. Free breakfast - everything you expect from the St Christopher's chain. Only annoying thing was the showers kept going hot to cold ... But the rest was excellent :)
A must stay option in Paris. The hostel is amazing. Laundry opened when we were there. Wifi throughout the building. The best aspect were the nights at the hostel, especially when Adam was working as he worked hard to encourage people to socialise and was hilarious. He will answer ANY questions you have about Paris. Give this guy a payrise! Very close to Gare du Nord station to access the rest of the city. We met so many awesome people at this hostel. Would definitely go back every time!
Staff are friendly and helpful, free breakfast every morning is a plus. Great bar and social area. Downsides are that wifi does not work in rooms, the shower we had was old and constantly changed hot to cold. But overall it's in a great location close to the train station, red light district etc so I would recommend it
Decent place to stay in London. About 5 minutes or so from King's Cross station and the Tube. Staff are friendly and welcoming, security is good. The rooms are quite small though and wifi is only available in the common areas. Can't go wrong with free breakfast. Bar and full kitchen available. Would stay here again.
Great hostel only a short walk to the train station. No wifi in rooms, but free breakfast, great bar and common areas including kitchen, tv room, Internet room. Definitely a recommended stay.
