Bit run down and the construction next door was a little noisy at times but good apart from that. Excellent free breakfast and they sorted out my transport to Phong Nha

Very nice place to stay. Each bed has curtains so good for privacy. Breakfast was good too. Great central location to hire a bike from. Would recommend

Unbearable smell. Seriously bad of wet dog. Made me feel sick. You do get used to it which is why I think the staff don't notice after a while. I would have stayed here longer as its a nicr place overall but the smell was just too bad

I'll start with the negative. It really smells. Really bad. The big dorm and the reception area in particular. I'm not sure if its thr dog or what but it's such a shame because this place would be fantastic otherwise. The staff are extremely nice and very helpful. They really want you to have a good stay and when I mentioned the smell on checkout they were apologic and said they would try to do something about it. I hope they do. Then this place would be perfect. You get a leaving present too

Cool place. Very cozy. It was full when I was there which I think is only 25 people so it was easy to meet everyone. The long table in the common area is a great place to hang out and meet people although don't make noise too late as the family lives there

Good place. They sorted out travel for me as well as motorbike rental. I marked it down on atmosphere as there was no one there. I think if it was at least half full then the rooftop would be a good place to hang out

Great place to stay. There's usually a party going on if you want to join in but you can easily find a quite spot on the basically private beach. The bar is a bit pricey but you see everything being shipped from the main island you understand. The free boat to the main beach is great (3 times a day) but I also recommend the trek through the jungle. Its good fun

Awesome place. Exactly what I needed. Great place to relax for a while. I can see how people get stuck here especially as there is a free dorm room. You end up spending all your money on food and drinks at the bar. Its cheap enough and a great spot to hang out. Otres beach is a short walk away and there's barely anyone there. I loved it here

Great place. I came back again after being at the beaches. Room is big and clean. Beds were comfortable. Bar downstairs was good too. Just be prepared for the 4 flights of stairs to the dorm room. You never get used to it

Great hostel. Facilities seemed quite new and clean. Very comfy bed and pool was awesome. Unfortunately they have a serious problem with bed bugs. My room seemed unaffected but I heard stories from other people plus I saw the cleaners picking dead ones out of the clean sheets in my room. I didn't get bitten though and I had a pleasant stay

Very good hostel withing walking distance to the train station and metro. The dorm was a little gloomy with the polished concrete. I'd say throw some paint on them. Wifi worked once I changed some settings on my phone. The reception can show you how if you're on android

Expensive even by Myanmars standard but a great place. Staff were really friendly and really helpful. A little out of the town but they have loads of bicycles to hire for cheap. They also do an exclusive boat tour everyday that was really good. Really showed us the local culture around the lake. Free breakfast was also very good. Loved the early check in room just for people arriving in the middle of the night. Only $5 from when you arrive until 10am. Then normal check at 2. Great concept.

Fantastic hostel. Looks new. The pods are pretty cool. Very comfortable and quiet. We managed to walk to all the tourist spots but it is a long way to walk. Maybe say yes one time to the guy that sits out the front offering tuk tuks. I must have said no to him about 8 times. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

The four bed dorms have an extra foam matress on top of the normal matress that the 8 bed doesn't have but it is also right next to reception so a little noisy. I was woken at 7am three days in a row by the receptionists talking

Pool is not in use at the moment which is a shame and the blankets aren't cleaned just refolded and put back on the bed with a fresh sheet. The rest is very good though. Good place to hang out especially as Vientiane isn't all that interesting. I would recommend

Beds were a bit small and I'm not exactly tall. The leather pillows are quite hard to sleep on too. Other than that the place is pretty good

View Property Reply

Dear Guest, thanks for your stay and for your review. The beds are under International Standards only. About leather pillows, the pillows are normal only, but covered by leather cover to make it water proof and more hygiene. We are trying to go with International Standards only. Next time, once you will come we will take care of this issue for you to make you more happy comparatively now. :) Till that time cheers and enjoy your holidays in Thailand.

Stayed here 2 weeks and it was great. Super relaxed but still not too far away from the centre of town for nights out. Great alternative to those party hostels. I was expecting a lot less for the price I was paying but its one of the nicest hostel I've stayed in in all of Australia. The fridges have lockers in them which I think is a great idea. The manager was really friendly and gives great advise on stuff to do in the area.
