Chakana House Hostel

The rooms were very nice and the bathrooms renovated. Hot showers and thick blankets helped during cold nights. However, it felt like guests were sometimes viewed as too demanding, as toilet paper had to be asked and hairdrying paid for... It was apparently all about saving which created a bit of a weird mood. Nevertheless, it's a quiet place to spend a few days close to the center.

Very central location and easy to get around. Can be a bit noisy on weekends. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nice place to spend a few days - especially hanging out on the roof terrace.

The hostel has a great, relaxed atmosphere that allows you to let go of any stress you might feel. It's overall very quiet and people are friendly. The dorms, where I stayed, have enough storing capacity and are cozy. The only disadvantage arethe fans that are installed on the bed frame and make the whole bed vibrate when turned on. Maybe one could find a better alternative for this. I guess the other, air-conditioned rooms, are better in that respect.Very helpful staff, would def return!

It was good for a night before heading out to new places. But I guess it would be a good day to even stay for a few days. Nice common areas and possibilities to hang at the pool. My mattress wasn't too comfy and it was rather noisy during the evening.
