Great hostel near the heard of Lapa, the party district on Rio. Hostel is really clean, really secure with key cards to get into dorms. Not the most lively hostel around, and staff were helpful at times but didn't seem to know much about what is around and give any recommendations. But I would go back.

Hostel is in a good location, near the tube stations which make getting around sao Paulo easy. The staff were all really friendly and nice to chat too, dorm rooms and beds were really good. But this was by no means a party hostel as it says.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thanks for your comments. Weird is that the hostel was full both days you guys were here, with people from all over, including Brazilians... We are not a party hostel like Loki or Milhouse for example, but more Social hostel, and we suggest and take people to parties every night. Maybe you didn't join us? But I'm glad we pleased you in other areas...

Recommend Highly! There is little I can say to fault this hostel, we ended u booking 2 nights and stayed nearly a week. The location is great with the beach on the door step, the staff are really fun and willing to help you with anything. They organise trips and nights out every day for you. The atmosphere is really good in this place and youll want to stay here longer than planned. Would def come back. only slight con is the price they charge for dinner, sometimes pretty pricey.

Been travelling for over 8 months now and this is the best hostel we've been too. Facilities are all great, beds really good, atmosphere was really chilled out and had a homely feel to the place. Only downfall is when we we stayed there was only one shower working in the males bathroom which meant waiting sometime. Location is ok but not too near to all the good bars and clubs.

Hostel as got a lot of potential, but most the time there is no staff around. Feels more like a hotel than a hostel. Location is okish, not much around but not too expensive to get around the Island from the location. Rooms are good value though, would most likely stay elsewhere if went again

Great hostel set in a big modern mansion. Modern facilities and beds were unique and comfy. Location near China town and near a tube stop. Would recommend! Price are quite steep though for drinks and meals.

Brilliant service from travellers in and would recommend to others, in a good location in fort and not far walk from all the action. Staff were all really friendly and on hand all the time. Rooms were simple but clean and did the job. Will be coming back when we head back to Mumbai.
