Booked 3 double private rooms....ended up with the entire apartment! No stove or oven in the kitchen, but I didn't even know there was going to be a kitchen at all.

The worst shower I've ever used. Other than that, no complaints. Got the job done for my single night stay.

Right next to the Altstadt. A very good price considering that point. Walk 200m to the cable car entrance to the top of a 2300m mountain! They have wifi downstairs, but I would have liked it in the rooms. Oh, they pre-authorize your credit card with the charge, but I paid in cash at the end. When I got home I noticed the charge and emailed. They said that it's just a check and it should go away...it did. Well that's good.

Cool place built in the city walls. Worth the hike to get to it! AMAZING view of the altstadt from the room. To get to it, go thru the tunnel in the giant cliff, turn right at the next main street. Just past the underground parking lot exit, there is a side street with a staircase going up. At the top of the stairs, there should be signs for the hostel (among other cool things). Alternatively, go up the Museum der Moderne lift for 2 euros.
