Good facilities in the bedroom, the bunk beds had a curtain on the side for privacy, and there was a sink basin within the room which is convenient. Locker below bed. Noisy street outside one side of the building, so either grab a drink at the bar before going to bed or get earplugs! Overall good experience and friendly staff.
Excellent location just a stroll away from shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Bathroom within the 4 people shared dorm was in good condition, and so were the beds. No lockers within the room I stayed in. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's also a nice pub crawl event of which the hostel partakes - for an agreeable price you can get to explore some of the local pubs with one guaranteed drink.
Location is convenient with bars, restaurants and the marina just outside the door. Me and my friend stayed in the attic room which (naturally) had a lower ceiling on one side. The hostel has a nice shared living room in one of the floors.
Really close to the underground and also feasible distance from Atocha station. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, really easy to get anywhere in the city from this hostel! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free walking tour really worth it - Pablo the tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, and provided some very valuable tips about the city and activities! They offer day trips to Toledo and Segovia, I did the 2nd one and recommend it (if you have enough time)
Very nice location and excellent staff. It's less than 5min away from the Zocodover square, the main one. The bedroom I was staying at had 4 beds and an ensuite, it was very clean and renovated. Clean bedsheets were provided and there was a locker inside the room for luggage. There is a cafeteria in the ground floor, and a 24/7 shop around the corner. The view from the terrace is quite nice too! Really recommend and would stay there again.
Excellent hostel in a perfect location, easy to arrive from the station (about 10min walk). They serve decent (free!) dinner for a limited amount of people, there's also a burger shop nearby. In front of the Hostel is a nice square. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere really fun. Breakfast is ok but a bit expensive. My room was good and WiFi worked. Only downside is a shortage of bathrooms to number of guests, but the positive traits do make up for it.
Great location, decent accommodation, I had no issues during my one night stay. The staff was very helpful. It was a bit odd having to pay extra for the bedsheets but I had read it beforehand so was not caught unprepared. The rooms were clean and so was the toilet. Easy to arrive from the Central station, and also very close to markets and shopping area.
Ulivo B&B is very well located, a few meters from Roma Termini. Easy to find - beware the name on the doorbell is different. The staff called in advance to let me know. I took a single ensuite. Very clean and suitable for my needs, the toilet also was all right. It is small but good for anyone traveling on a short budget for a quick stay. I saw no common area. The staff Lucia was extremely helpful and polite. Bus to Roma Ciampino airport departs from a few blocks away. Breakfast is quite poor.
Great hostel, very nice and helpful staff, excellent and new facilities. Seems more like a resort or hotel. Very relaxing and cozy atmosphere. Superb view of the Meuse river from the restaurant's balcony. The hostel is located right outside one of the city parks, which contributes for a very relaxed and laid back setting. Only problem I could find is that there's no kitchen (whereas most hostels do) to cook your own food.
Staff is very helpful and friendly, location is good, but this hostel is really about hanging out and laying back. Nice bar. Not very suitable for whoever is looking for any extra comfort, as the place is very noise and busy at night. The lockers are barrels inside the bedroom shared between 18 people, so it's very noisy whenever someone is organizing their stuff. So, overall, great place for interaction, but not really comfortable for the price.
The facilities inside the apartment are great, this is more like a shared room in a good hotel rather than a hostel. Everything is brand new and works wonderfully, the room is comfortable and cozy, and there's a private kitchen. You don't need to wash dishes or cutlery as they are plastic and disposable. Only setback is that there isn't really a common area, and the Hostel is actually in the same building as some other business class hotels, so it isn't exactly a place for lot of interaction.
The staff is very helpful and friendly in this hostel, going out of their way to help us enjoy Brugge and plan for our next destinations. Nice people to chat around, a good common area with a bar and some comfortable sofas. The kitchen isn't very big but enough, the whole building is being renovated and the new rooms are excellent. The overall atmosphere is very cozy and it's nice that there'll be a bathroom in every floor after construction is finished. A good experience.
Very good hostel for its price. The staff was friendly and helpful, provided us with info on the facilities and transportation from the hostel. Rooms were large, they didn't have as many power outlets as beds but not a big problem. Everything was quite clean, the kitchen was big enough for two groups to cook simultaneously, but there was no abundance of pans or cutlery. There is a bar which is ideal for meeting new people, and the overall atmospere i great.
Great assistance from the staff, always friendly and helpful. Versatile hostel, with a complete and lively bar, a lot of open areas on the lobby and a decent breakfast for the price. The only thing I'd point out as needing improvement are the computers in the cyber cafe. Since you have to pay for the time you stay, at least they shouldn;t be so slow. Took me more than 30 minutes to print my boarding pass...
