Jailhouse Accommodation Christchurch, Christchurch, New Zealand

rooms were small, but that is logical for an old jail. lots of character and a nicely equiped kitchen. On the con side, it is really unforgiveable and not of this century you have to pay for the wifi. therefore a low score for facilities.

Really nice place to visit. Staff is great. Diningclub is a must do activity. The toilets and shower are outside and may need an additional scrub. Also the wifi did not work, there was a computer with internet. But these downsides overshadow the coolness of this place. Stay here and you will have a nice visit of Melaka.

Really clean hostel, location at walking distance from the ferry and major tourist areas, staff was very helpfull explaining what to visit and where to eat (try the tandoori chicken at the restaurant at the corner). The dorm room was nice with AC, warm shower and lockers. Only negative was that the toilets were downstairs. The second night we stayed in a private room. The room was nice, but very small. I liked the hostel, but expensive for what you get (compared to other hostels in Georgetown)

No frills, but nice, clean hostel. Some breakfast included and free whisky. The common room could use a major makeover to make it a bit more cosy. So that people would really hang out there.

Great location, small rooms, clean bathrooms but cold shower. Small breakfast included. Noicy AC. It doesn't feels like the staff is there for you

Really good place to stay in Sapa. We arrived early in the morning with the nighttrain from Hanoi. While we waited for our room they gave us a free breakfast. Also the gave good hiking advice, without pushing their tours. The staff was really great!

We stayed at both hostels. The original hostel has nice and clean dorm rooms with ensuite bathroom. The restaurant is a nice place to chill. The other hostel has dorm rooms with too much beds in a small room. If you have the upper bed the fans on the ceiling are almost in your face. Would not recommend the big dorm. Bathrooms are OK. This hostel is more a party, with loud bar music in the common room. If your are not looking for a party, this is not the place to stay.

Great hostel! I would recommend the hostel if you are staying in Chengdu. One of the best we had.
