The hostel was great, except for one thing. The dorms on the lower level had only one bathroom between 8 people, making it very difficult in the mornings to shower and use the toilets. It would be much better if there were communal bathrooms outside of the dorms that anyone could access, such as those on the upper levels.
There needs to be more common areas. At the moment there is the tv room and the dinning area.
Overal pretty good stay. Just one thing, there are a lot of staff around, some working, some not. This can make the common area seem more crowded it at times then if there were just guests. This is not always a bad thing, as it is fun talking to people. It is more when you are after a seat on the couch after a long day out in the sun. The staff were very warm and friendly and the beds were comfy. Really easy to make new friends. I would stay there again.
The rate is calculated in USD which is then converted to AR Pesos at a worse rate then what the offical exchange rate is at the time. It is fine if you are paying in USD, but as I was paying in Pesos. I was told that the exchange rate would be 5, even though the rate given by XE was 4.7 at the time. When I questioned there reasoning for this different rate I was told that if they were to go to the bank they would be given a higher rate, even though they will not be changing money at the bank.
Very crowded, but good
Lots of common space and a great location and friendly staff.
