Daniel and Jenny run an excellent, newly designed facility. The 12 bed delux dorm is especially nice with solid build bunks with thoughtful touches (shelves, lights, plug, lockable locker). The showers are large, clean and the hot water is good. Everything is cleaned all of the time. The wifi and computer connectivity was some of the best we had experienced in 12 months. The breakfast is not special, but there are adjacent hawker stalls. The bus stops in front and there are two MRT nearby.
A really clean, nice hostel. Great living room, computer, etc. good movie selection.
The hostel is a very basic stay quite near the park. The best part is that you can meet some other nice travelers, almost all who are doing a mountain climb. The next homestay down the road on the right has a really good restaurant, wifi, and pretty nice owners. It's called Villa something. If I went back, i would try them.
The staff kept things clean. The older woman was a bit abrupt. The dorm sur conditioning broke and it was a sweatbox with no fan! All day brekkie was a nice touch and patrons cool.
Staff was excellent, breakfast above average. Shower was almost non existent. Ok wifi.
Relatively fancy, giant kitchens, lots of Couples and families on vacation.
We had our wine and some of our food taken. Hot and really needed vans. Great duck outside and well intentioned employees.

Great vibe, best video collection, nice common rooms and kitchen. Special place with great maps etc.
Loved the owner. She really, sincerely cared for her guests. Excellent breakfast.
The family who runs it consider their needs first, then their guests. Breakfast was good, but an uncomfortable vibe overall.
We really appreciated the warmth of our hosts, Alejandro and Francis, as well as their three sons. They seemed honestly concerned with our trip and experience with them.
We were uncomfortable at the B and B as the owners got mad and shouted at another couple for using the kitchen facilities, but did not apply the same treatment to other couples later. The common areas for guests has very poor furniture. Rooms were decent and clean and the breakfast terrific. Ushuaia books all the way up in December and Janauary so homes with rooms for rent may not have to try as hard as most places.
The front room is great to chill and the views are wonderful!
The staff at the Hostal were excellent. While there was not a great community space, people did gather in the lobby where the travel agent was located and shared tips. The location was near the center, but enough of a side road to not be too noisy.
One nice twist on the hostel is that you get to enter their sister resort property with a bar, restaurant and pool. Very nice. We got excellent assistance from Alonzo and Sonia on tours, restaurants and transport.
