Great Hostel, great atmosphere, good bedrooms, each room has a spacious bathroom, where you can get dressed in comfort ;)
I liked the bar at the bottom. Although not spending time there, it has potential. Bathrooms with each room which is also cool. The beds were NOT creeking, which is always a big plus when doing bunker beds :)
Thank you to the staff for the evening suppers provided. It is a true bonding experience with the rest of the travellers! Thank you for Carlos, Raph, Fiona, Lizz and Sophia (the staff) for friendliness and willingness to assist.
The hostel is close to the beach which is amazing. Keizerstraat is also a fun location. The staff was really friendly (had fun talking to the spanish girls that could only speak english). The rooms were quite tight with 3 beds on top of one-another.....this is the main concern. The beds are very closely spaced and tables are limited, thus difficult to store your bag / suitcase properly....
The staff was really interesting and helpful, many thanks. For a newcomer to Amsterdam maps were provided, tourist hotspots were pointed out, and they were always happy to have a chat. The hostel is compact, but provide everything it should. I enjoyed the television in the dining area, as well as the boardgames that is available. Breakfast might have a cereal option perhaps, but that is really the only negative. Very good value for money.
