This was a lovely hotel & I enjoyed my stay here, but only when you have gained entrance to the hotel! I booked this hotel some time ago & had not received the instruction that I had to email the manager my time of arrival. It would be very helpful for there to be either set check-in times, & then for the rooms to have numbers as he had to tell us "up the stairs, go to the top floor, & room to the right". People coming in kept trying our door (maybe could not tell their left from their right).
We had a good stay here - close to the underground (Victoria) and has many cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. There's a Sainsburys and a Tesco also near to the hotel. The only downside was that the towels in the room are very very rough and actually hurt to use them, and the plastic sheet on the bed is just under a very thin bedsheet which means you feel that horrible plastic all the time. The staff were friendly and helpful, it was very easy to come and go, and all in all a good stay.
we really enjoyed our stay here as it was very convenient to get around the city, and the neighbourhood was really pretty with lots of bars and restaurants. The room had a fridge, hairdryer, computer with wifi code, great shower and its own entrance. My husband and I had s great stay here!
Great guest house with friendly and helpful staff that always smile! The rooms are spotless and comfortable. It's not located in the center of town, but this is good because it's not noisy. Be sure to request Mr. Siv, the best tuk tuk driver! We will stay here again when we return!
Overall this hostel was okay. The staff were friendly and tried to help us much as possible. The location is good as it's located near major bus lines. However, we had problems with our beds being unmade. We had to ask twice for the beds to be made. The final time, only one bed was made with the same dirty sheets while the other bed was still unmade. So we made our own beds. The showers aren't very good - little pressure and not hot.
A great hostel for location and security. Also a cool place to hang out and relax. We didn't sleep too well due to our dorm being near the cleaners' station and they had walkie-talkies that were so loud and they were chatting noisily very early in the morning. The toilets were not very clean and smelled very bad, and the showers were difficult to use as there were no hooks to hang your stuff and there was just a curtain. The staff were very friendly and they picked us up from the station.
Very good facilities, very comfortable dorms and common rooms. The staff were so helpful and gave great advice and services. The only problem we had was that there was no hand soap or toilet roll in any of the toilets - but we just used our own. I would definitely stay here again as it was great value for money and near the main street of Ulaanbaatar. They also pick you up from the station and arrange transport.
Fabulous hostel!!! Great staff, met some great people, everyone was so friendly and kind. The staff helped us get our Trans-Mongolian train tickets. Fantastic facilities - free towels, tea and coffee, free use of washing machine and Internet. The location is brilliant and great atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough!
This hostel is in an excellent location with really friendly staff. It was very clean and our stay was comfortable. We could easily enjoy the sights of Kiev, and the staff gave us helpful tips and helped to organise our transport to the airport.
Excellent hostel! We were welcomed and invited out to meet other travellers at the hostel in a nearby bar/restaurant. Aricio really cares about his hostel and gave great advice and helpful tips to us. The location is very good, and the hostel has a real cosy 'home' feel. I would stay at this hostel again and highly recommend it.
This hostel is a must-stay when you visit Istanbul! From the minute we arrived, the Agora Team (Nadir, Mustafa, Volkan and the other guys) were so welcoming, helped us organise our days and recommended a fabulous Turkish bath which was a heavenly experience. The hostel has excellent facilities - fast internet, really clean rooms, showers and toilets, and is near all the main sights. I would highly recommend this hostel- enjoy your stay!
Very good hostel! We really enjoyed our stay there. The British guy who checked us in was so helpful and really friendly. He gave us great advice and made us feel very welcome. The hostel was in a great location - near the metro, or an easy bus ride to all the sights. The only slight downer is if you're dead set on cooking, the kitchen isn't quite up to it, but apart from that - great staff, fab lockers, safe and good location. Would highly recommend!
We only used this hotel for one night as it was a sleepover stop so we could visit Pompeii. It was fine for what we needed - a room for the night, good shower and pretty secure.
Beware, it's a hostel in name only. It's a halfway house for old people, transients and shady characters. Not sure if some of these people had paid for a room as the doors are never locked and anyone could walk in off the street to use the common room/ kitchen. It was hard to meet people because the atmosphere of this hostel was weird. Disgusting toilets - people smoking in them, no hand soap, empty toilet roll dispensers. Slow internet! Expensive for what it was - worst hostel ever!
The owner of this hostel is a great guy who is very helpful. He really cares about his guests and their comfort, and it shows in every aspect. It's the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, and the facilities are top notch. I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Budapest - great value!
Great staff, good lockers, clean rooms, and quiet. All in all a good hostel within walking distance to the main train/underground station. I would definitely stay here again.
A great hostel with great advice from the really friendly staff. They have a nice kitchen, and it's a stone's throw from the picturesque town of Cesky Krumlov. The whole hostel is really clean, and they have a fabulous lounge area to relax in in the evenings. Next door is a lovely restaurant with great food and cheap beer! Enjoy!
Rude guests screaming and singing from 3-4am. The staff on duty at the time was unhelpful or unwilling to deal with the situation. However, we were moved to a quieter room by another staff member the next morning. Everything is a bit rundown and not the cleanest hostel. This hostel is good if you don't care about getting a good night's sleep, and you like to party all night.
Very good hostel, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and near to the train station, subway and walking distance to sights. Not as clean as we\'d have liked though.
Great hostel - near all the sites (we did our own circular walking tour in a day and it was fabulous). Our dorm was cheap and had 6 beds - very clean. Very good security lockers, and you can leave your luggage in security lockers downstairs after you check out. It's very quiet in the rooms, as the bar is downstairs on the ground floor, and the doors and walls are thick so you get a good night's sleep. I would recommend this hostel to anyone and would stay here again.
A fab hostel and wished we had been able to stay more than one night! But had to fly onwards to Germany. The staff were so friendly, helpful and fun - arranging activities and taking time to make your stay an enjoyable one. Great kitchen facilities, warm and secure rooms, great character and altogether a fab place. Very conveniently located, just a few stops from Diagonal (where Gaudi's La Pedrera is) and then just walk south and you hit the Rambla and everything else. Highly recommend it!
All the rooms were connected to the common room, so it was noisy and difficult to sleep. Good showers and restrooms, clean and warm if you have a bed away from the window.
A very good hostel, but quite cold in winter! It was good for the money, and in a fantastic location - near all the main sights. I would stay there again.
