Açaí Hostel Salvador

Salvador, Brazil

The hostel is quite new, and part of it is still under construction. The beds are comfy and include a personal light & fan as well as two lockers for every guest - a big one under the bed & a smaller one, with a plug inside, right next to the bed - lock and keys are included. The rooms are spacious enough and very clean. Shared bathrooms are clean & the showers hot. A spacious common area plus outside terrace are at convenience. Highly recommended, I really enjoyed my stay!

Books Hostel is an excellent place with a nice vibe. International and multilingual staff is very welcoming and helpful at all times. Rooms are simple but beds are very comfy, showers are hot and relatively clean - depending on time of usage;) The bar downstairs offers reasonably priced drinks and especially on weekends offers a great opportunity to meet people and start off for a night out in Lapa. Excellent location - great atmosphere!

Great hostel with friendly, very helpful staff. Lots of free activities so you'll never be bored. Facilities are clean and secure, guests are encouraged to socialize and the atmosphere is very homely. I will definitely come back!

Nice hostel for summertime, with pool, BBQ, and great outside area. A little cold for the winter (had a cold shower one morning) A little weird: there's deposits for everything, sheets, plates, cutlery,... But you can also hire lots of stuff for free, such as bikes or surfboards!

Base Brisbane - Central

Absolute party hostel. If you're after fun, drunken nights with fellow travelers, base is the hostel for you. If you are after a good night of sleep, rather go somewhere else.

Hello! Thank you for your review. YES, Base Brisbane Central is a fun party hostel - people come here to party and have a good time in our Downunder Bar (DUB). But, we do offer private rooms for those that require some alone time... For other guests that are after a bit of piece and quiet we recommend out other hostels, Base Brisbane Embassy & Base Brisbane Uptown. Both just a short stroll from Central but still in fabulous locations in the heart of Brisbane's city.

Really enjoyed my stay at the mansion, only Thing that could be improved is a Better common area. For me it was really hard to meet people as I felt rushed in the kitchen, the only real common space.
