Pros: the rooms are clean and spacious. Weekend breakfast is quite good. Quiet place and also feels safe. Cons: old, grumpy and disgusting people living there, acting like the hostel was their's. Bathrooms and showers really small. Neither good or bad: the location, by the north side of Hyde Park and Queensway tube station, is not bad, but neither is it close to anything interesting. The hostel is not expensive, but could be a bit cheaper. Some members of the staff are nice, while others are not

Pros: big and clean rooms and facilities, good weekend breakfast, friendly staff, cheap price. Cons: booking system unreliable (I booked a bed on a 5 male bedroom, but I was given a bed on a 3 female bedroom). Checking in after 8pm is quite difficult since the reception is not 24h. Neither good or bad: location close to Natural History and Science Museums, but nothing else interesting. Narrow corridors and stairs (old building) might make you feel like trapped.

It is a good hostel, with a cool pub/reception. The staff is nice, specially the Spanish girls. There are some doors which can only be opened with a code, so it feels safe. On the other hand, there is no hot water on the showers by 8am. Also, the hostel is too far away from Victoria train and coach station, and the subway stations around it are not close either. The price is just OK, not to cheap or expensive. The rooms and facilities are fine. It is an average value for money, for an UK hostel

It is just an average hostel. It is close to Victoria Station, and that is useful. But the rest of the hostel is just OK. No complains at all, but could be better, or cheaper. London is a great city, but has a very poor accommodation.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Having our hostel extremely close to Victoria Station is extremly useful as you said, and a great reason to come and stay with us if you're looking to see some of the great tourist attractions around central London. We try to make our guests enjoy themselves as much as we can when they stay, so when a guest isn't fully satisfied we want to know why. Please come and stay with us again and let us know what we can do to make your stay go from OK to amazing.

We were forced to sleep in separate rooms. The staff was rude and wouldn't lisen to reason. Also, the facilities are uncomfortable and not big enough for the amount of people the hostel accommodates. The only good thing about the hostel is its location, everything else is poor or terrible, just under the average. Think of another hostel if you can. Choose this one only if you have no choice.
