Great breakfast. Bar downstairsis good and coukdnt be heard upstairs in our room. Socket and light at each bed. Could have done with a stool or similar to put things on in the shower. Great location in the red light district.

Common areas and dorms are fine. Breakfast is ok. Shared dorm bathrooms are cramped and never seemed to be clean. Dirty soggy towels always on the floor to soak up the water. Only one hook in the shower cubicle. Blankets on beds not changed between guests, and there isn't even a top sheet to put between you and the blanket. A daily spray of air freshner on the blanket is not an acceptable alternative to washing. Laundry and tickets for travel are available cheaper in other places.

Nice restaurant, food was good, if a little on the expensive side for Cambodia. Large comfortable beds, very clean, not completely convinced the blankets on the beds were changed with the bed linen, as I saw pleny piles of clean sheets and pillowcases, but no piles of blankets. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Great location just across from the station, although it took me a few minutes to find it, easiest way is to go down into the metro and then take exit 4, and it's almost right beside the metor exit. Nice restaurant in the lobby. Clean comfortable beds with a light and power socket and you get a towel and shampoo and shower gel in your locker too. Good wifi, although my room was pretty far from reception so the signal wasn't so strong there

Good location in little India, walking distance to the ferry. Nice, helpful staff. Clean, but a fairly unpleasant smell in the dorm. Two showers in the dorm, but the toilet is downstairs. Would have preferred a sheet to a fleece blanket. A/C good, but wifi not great at the top of the building.

Loved backhome, one of my favourite hostels in 9 months of travelling around the world. Comfy beds with your own light and power socket. Lovely bathroom, nice outdoor courtyard, lots of space, good location, good wifi, nice staff. A little on the quiet side when I was there, but I was in the mood for that.

Great location, very clean, ac very welcome and working. Liked that the 22 bed dorm was sectioned off for privacy, with light and power socket at each bed. No lockers, and the lock on the dorm room door was broken the second day. Dorm had a musty smell. The heater in the room didn't work. Really low bunks, with a weird metal mesh thing underneath the top mattress which because of the lowness of the bunk, i kept getting my hair caught in, very annoying. Shower room had no lock, just a curtain separating the cubicles. Common areas were nice, but dorm was a bit shabby.

Disappointing. I was expecting great things from this hostel after the reviews. The breakfast was only ok. The pancakes were fine, but that & a hot drink is all there is. The only shower I was directed to when I arrived is essentially a 'wet room', there's one hook, & nowhere else to put your stuff to keep it dry. There is another bathroom with a shower, but I only found it a few days after I arrived when another guest pointed it out. Front door locked v early & often difficult to get in at nigh

we have breakfast very different from the other and everyone can read the very good reviews about our breakfast we have, we just have congratulations for our breakfast, if you do not like very much had the other option of scrambled eggs, our breakfast pancakes are not only there is also a choice of eggs, about the shower, you'll stay an 8 bed dorm with shared bathroom and it is rare that observation, this is a quiet family guesthouse and when people come out to play late and there is always a person who opens the door, there are staffed 24 hours per 18 soles which costs the bedroom you had a good kitchen, games room, terrace, tv room, hot shower and a comfortable bed , but still thanks for your review

Kitchen facilities are pretty poor. Bathroom in the first dorm has a glass panneled door which is only partly covered over and even that´s only barely opaque, not ideal. and the bathroom itself is pretty small. Also, no lockers or anywhere to store your stuff, and all common areas except for the attached restaurant are outdoors, which is fine which the weather is good, but a bit rubbish on a rainy Sunday, when the restaurant is closed.

Nice hostel, expensive for what it is. Breakfast was mediocre, and not improved by the flies crawling all over everything, don't blame the hostel for the flies, but maybe a cloth or cover on the fruit and bread? Good location, but far from the bus station. Check with the hostel about getting picked up, or the shuttle into town, and don't be fooled by the directions in the confirmation email which gave me the impression the hostel is a casual stroll from the bus station rather than a 40 min trek
