Wow! Fantastic hostel! Lovely host, great atmosphere and some nice extra touches, e.g free breakfast (cereals, toast & jam, juice) free tea (various types) and coffee; shampoo, hair driers and straighteners provided as well. A very comfy lounge with TV, films, music and wifi. Very highly recommended & would return.

A decent hostel established in a building with real character. Clean and quiet with good self-catering facilities (except the kettle disappeared early one morning). Staff are pleasant, and card access is convenient.

Stayed here a few times now, and always found it to be a good hostel with nice staff and well-maintained. It's a lovely character building with a good kitchen and single toilet/shower facilities on each floor, including easy-access for wheelchair users.

Second time I've stayed here, in the same 16-bed female dorm. Friendly chap on the desk, and quick check-in. The bed was clean and comfortable, as too was the shower/toilet/sink. I usually only have brief one or two night stays in London, and it fits my needs perfectly.

Second stay in the hostel. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, clean and spacious rooms, and a beautiful building with a lot of history. Booked a single room (13) with shared bathroom, which was actually a twin room. As it faces onto the street, light sleepers may wish to take earplugs, but it did not bother me. The advantages are you can get wi-fi in your room, and it is ideal for wheelchair users as the lift is next to the room, and not too far from the adapted bathroom. Would stay again.

Second stay here, simply because I liked the place so much last time. This visit I stayed in a private double room with en suite bathroom. Generally the room was decent, with clean sheets and nicely proportioned. Only two minor gripes: the air conditioning unit was not working, but the room was warm enough anyway; and a shower was a bit of an adventure as the showerhead was quite high with no feature for adjusting the angle or spray pattern. Nevertheless I would stay here again.
