Mosquito Hostel

I got very sick and spent one week sitting in the hostel. Every single person on the staff was so friendly, caring and helpful. They helped me find an English-speaking doctor, 24 hr pharmacy, etc. Everything is right downstairs: ATM, 24hr supermarket, pharmacy, 24hr pierogies... The hostel is great for meeting people, and they have fun events (and free dinner) every night! This is more of a party hostel - people coming and going until 4am, so if you are a light and early sleeper keep it in mind.

I recommend this hostel. The facilities are very nice - there is free hot/cold water, a really huge breakfast buffet, and giant lockers in the rooms. They even serve dinner (not free, but very cheap) each night, and have a bunch of snacks+wine you can buy. In my room it was confusing to work the heater and the shower, so ask the staff about that if you are confused. Most of the staff were nice but there was one rude staff member. Maybe not the easiest for meeting people, but I still managed to!

Like everyone else who reviewed: this hostel is fantastic! You feel like you are staying as a guest in Lina's home. Lina is so sweet and really wants to make sure that everyone has a great time. She has great recommendations. If I go to Vilnius again, I'll come here - even if I have the choice of staying in a hotel! The hostel is also very clean. In the 6 bed dorm there is no door, so you can hear sounds from downstairs. If you are a light sleeper, stay in the 4 bed dorm or double room.

This hostel has character! And the beds have their own curtains, lights, and endtables. The staff are super friendly and have a lot of good tips. The location is perfect as well. On the flip side, the room we were in was underneath the hostel's rooftop bar (which is really cool by the way! amazing views and very chill.) Most of the time it wasn't noisy and it didn't bother me, but if you are a very light sleeper this is something to keep in mind - perhaps ask for a room on the lower floor.

This hostel is amazing! Really cheap, great location right next to Metro station and in the heart of downtown, and nice facilities. There's a bar in the hostel and also they serve a buffet-style breakfast every morning which is really worth it (when I was there, 1000 HUF which is about 3.5 EURO).
