The location of this hostel is absolutely brilliant. You can walk to the Brera arty quarter in 10mims (and go to the Market via San Marco) or go for a nap in the parco Sempione. Now to the bad bits of this hostel: the staff was very arrogant and unfriendly. I stayed in many hostels but I've never been received in that way. Please keep in mind that they also charge 4€ per bag to leave it in what they call the luggage room (means behind the reception counter)...

The (only) great thing about this hostel is the great location right in the heart of the vibrant Hoxton. Plenty of bars and clubs to go to just located outside the hostel. But the facilities are very poor... One shower for 12 of us that wasn't working amazingly well. No proper bathroom, we had to go to the tiny loo to use the minuscule tap to brush our teeth!
In general we were happy with the hostel. Great location in the heart of the Cannereggio area of Venise and very good value for money. But there have a few rules that surprised me! They close the gate at 12.30am and re open at 8am. So it means that everyone have to be back by half midnight which is a real shame in a city like Venise. They have cleaning times between 10am and 2pm so everyone have to be out of the rooms / showers between those times...
I would definitely recommend this hostel. The location is great right in the heart of a lovely area of Berlin full of restaurants and cool cafés. You can leave your stuff in a locker and you borrow a lock for free. Don't pay to use internet but ask for the password for the wifi. Would definitely go back there!
