Great hostel, good staff, clean, good atmosphere and the perfect place to meet people. Airco in all the rooms although it may get cold at times. Just ask reception to turn it up. Location is great, it's a safe environment. Cartagena is not that big, so you can walk everything. The hostel has all the information you need and the bar is really nice. If you're travelling solo, this would be a great hostel. No party hostel. After 12 stop playing the music, and you can sleep...
Great hostel! I ended staying here for a month! It's not a big hostel, which makes it very easy to meet new people. Beds are big and comfortable and the hostel is very clean. The kitchen is good and the staff is simply amazing. The bathrooms are spacious and clean! I know there are only 2 bathrooms in this hostel, but I didn't mind. Breakfast will cost you 2.50 dollars, but it's good. They change breakfast each day which is great when you stay here for a bit longer. Good hostel, book it!
Amazing hostel! After having travelled for 9 months it's nice staying in such a good hostel again. It's a tiny hostel and that's why it has such an intimate atmosphere. It's easy to meet people here. The facilities are amazing! The hostel is extremely clean and the showers are amazing. The best thing about the hostel is the staff, they treat you amazingly well and really do their best to make your stay unforgettable. Thanks Elba!!
Hostel Ezama is an amazing hostel! It's cheap and good value for money! Emilio is an extremely nice guy and will help you with whatever you need. He knows a lot about all different treks! The hostel is clean and looks nice. It's not located in the city centre, but it's not that far removed either. You could either take a taxi to the centre which would cost you 3 soles or you just walk for like 15 minutes. Wi-fi is quite fast, but he shuts it down between 11PM and 8AM. Definitely recommendable!
Good hostel! Very professional and clean. It looks more like a hotel though. Might not be the best place if you want to meet fellow backpackers though. This hostel attracts a different public. It's quite a walk up to the subway and the neighborhood is not really lively. Best wi-fi I've had so far during my 6 months of travelling through South America. Breakfast is ok.
Great hostel! Especially the staff. Maggie always welcomed me with a smile and Gaston (the owner) is really cool too. He even brought me to the bus station with his motorbike, because I had to sort out some stuff. It's not a big hostel and therefore it's easy to get to know people. They have a few nice hammocks too and a hugte tv with a PS3 (but you can also watch movies of course).
Good hostel. Nice staff, good breakfasts, nice hammocks all over the place and a good place to get to know people. Nice common area. And they have good dinners too!
Great hostel! The staff is amazing and Leila always welcomes you with a smile! The cleaning ladies are there all the time to clean the hostel. The location is amazing, just a couple of blocks away from the Copacabana beach. They offer many things and they have some good tours. In the afternoon they offer you some cake and coffee, which is a nice addition as well! It's not a party hostel, so you can have a good night sleep here if you want.
The hostel is clean and has all the facilities you need. I didn't find the staff that nice. They were really slow and it took me like 25 minutes before I could even pay. I just left the money at the reception and left. But it's not a bad hostel. It's big and it's easy to meet people. They have nice common areas.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Especially the staff made my stay wonderful. Lele, Nico, Catalina and Vicky will do their best to help you. The hostel is clean and it's easy to meet people. And they have huge lockers! The hostel is not expensive and you'll get a lot in return. I will definitely go back to this hostel someday. I highly recommend this hostel!
Kona Tau is a great hostel. It's spacious, clean and it has a good vibe. It's also easy to meet people here. I agree that the people of the hostel aren't around that much, but you do not need them that much anyways. But when you do see them they are very friendly: They pick you up at the airport and bring you back when you leave Easter island. Everything well arranged.
The hostel is located very well, in the middle of nice bars and restaurants. The rooms are ok, but it can be tiny though and there is not much ventilation. I guess for a bqckpacker it doesn't matter that much. Breakfast is ok and the staff is helpful. Especially the guy who does the night shift, but you gotta be able to speak Spanish then. Internet works well, they have two different networks depending on where you are. There's a nice terrace where you have a drink with fellow travellers.
All I can say is that I booked this hostel and when I arrived they said it was overbooked, so they brought me to another hostel. Luckily, the other hostel was ok... otherwise I wouldn't have appreciated it.
I wasn't to enthusiastic about the hostel. All the facilities were there, but the guy who was working there didn't know anything. He told me that he was new, but the owner should educate him better or at least keep an eye on things. But the hostel itself is fine.
Great hostel! I really enjoyed my stay here. It's a tiny hostel which makes it easy to get to know people. It is nicely designed, and it has a great atmosphere. The staff is incredibly nice! Facilities are ok; Breakfast is not big, but it's good. I would definitely recommend this hostel.
I've been to many hostels and this is definitely one of the better ones. The staff is great and it's really clean. It has a good atmosphere and it's easy to meet people here. Breakfast is amazing, they even serve freshly baked croissants. It may be a bit outside the city centre, but it's definitely worth it!
I think this is an average hostel. It's not great, but it' definitely not bad. Breakfast is ok and you can leave your bags in the storage room if you wanna do the Torres hike.
Good hostel. Everything is really clean and the staff is nice. Internet works properly and they can help you with all kinds of tours and other things. The kitchen is really nice, it's actually in a different house. You can also hang out there in the middle of night, and you won't wake up other people. The atmosphere is good. Breakfast is ok .
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at: Gaston is the best host ever and knows everything! The hostel is clean, spatious, has a great atmosphere and very secure. They have a seperate house where people can hang out without waking up people. And Gaston makes a great asado! Lockers are huge!! And they even have a climbing wall.
The hostel is in a good neighbourhood (Palermo). The hostel wasn't bad, but it wasn't that special either. The thing I liked about this hostel is that is has huge lockers!

It'a tiny hostel, but it's cosy. The guy working there was pretty cool. The rooms are alright. I'd say it's an average hostel.
Great hostel! One of the best hostels I stayed at. It's a big hostel and it's easy to meet people. They organize lots of activities and the staff is just great! The hostel is very clean and they change the sheets daily. Very good atmosphere and it's not noisy at all. I'd definitely recommend this one!
