Great hostel. Right next to the bus station, but not very noisy, and the bus station is closed during the night so we had no trouble sleeping. Very clean, there is a hairdryer in the bathroom and fresh towels. Walking distance to all main tourist attractions.

Everything was fine. Only negative thing - there aren't any outlets in the bathrooms.
I had a pleasant stay. At first sight the hostel look kinda quaint, but it grows on you:)
Great hostel, staff were really nice and helpful. Great breakfast. The only drawback was the lack of individual lockers in the room.
All in all a nice place to stay. Clean, great location. The street can be really noisy in the morning (from around 6am). And it's really not a place to meet people.
Great hostel. Wish I had a chance to stay longer.
Great hostel, close to the center, but still quiet, staff was very helpful. And the best breakfast, I've ever had in a hostel.
A small hostel outside the city center. There were lockers in the rooms but, they run out of padlocks to lock them... Breakfast was poor, the only thing edible was cereal, the toast was stale. The bathroom was cleaned only every two days, and it gets dirty fast in places like this. On the positive side, the staff was very helpful.
Very nice, fancy hostel. Located in the city center, walking distance from the bus and train station. There was a big TV in the common area, and a lot of DVDs to choose from. There was a terrace on the roof, they even have a small pool:)
Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Magda, Tatiana and the guys were really great. The hostel is in the center of the city, between Barrio Alto and Alfama. It was clean, there was a great common area, there are free walking tours available.
I was really disappointed with the room I had - it had no windows and no air-conditioning. So at night the air in the room got really unpleasant. The only thing that brought some relief was a fan, that I left running all night. The rest was pretty good - it was clean, I got clean towels every day, the host was helpful. Despite there being no kitchen, I could always ask him for a glass or a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine:)
the beds are noisy, so every time I moved it squeaked waking up other people in the room (sorry folks:)) and there are no security lockers. Other than that it's a nice, cheap hostel in the center of Madrid. Ah, and the bar in the hostel is a great idea:)
Really nice hostel
Miguel was a great host! Hostel is really close to the beach and to the Santa Barbara Castle.
