Hostel Ibiza was quite dirty (insects and dust)... Hot water shower didn't work because it had broken and they didn't fix it... Breakfast fruits looked bad because they had been to long in the fridge... The owner entered in the bedroom smoking... AC was noisy... I do not recommend.

They only turn on the AC at 22h and during the day the rooms and bathroom seem saunas. I suggest the installation of vans. The hostel does not have a place to wash and dry your bikini. Rio is a beach city. It is not good to dry beach clothes in the room. It smells.

Dear Guest, Rio de Janeiro is very hot, it reaches 45 degrees celsius easily in the summer and we can not control that, the rooms are hot, the bathrooms are hot, it is hot everywhere, not just in the hostel. Our hostel is one of the few which offers air conditioning in ALL ROOMS, and like all others we turn it on during the night period when guests are sleeping. It is impossible to keep it turned on all day, for financial reasons (you paid a R$ 29 rooms) and even the capacity of work of any machine. If you get a private room you will have a 24h air conditioning option. About a place to put your bikini, we do have a space in the back of the hostel, but you probably didn´t see it, maybe if you had asked us we could have shown you. MAA
