It's not a good place. When I checked-in no one told me that the hostel/hotel will be closed at night. To my surprise, when I returned from a walk in the town, the door was locked. Called someone for 5-10 minutes, no result; no door bell, tried to open the door with my key - nope. Finally, realized that there is a side door (no sign whatsoever) and was able to open. The place seemed to be completely empty. Noise at 7 am (construction-related). Super cranky beds. Can't recommend.

No hot water in our private room. First, I was told to wait to heat the water, then they said "yes, we know the issue, the repairman can come tomorrow...". I only stayed for 1 night, so "tomorrow" didn't help at all. My wife was advised to take a shower in a common bathroom. They refunded $5 for that on our request. The location is far from Casco Viejo (old town), but there are many places to eat nearby.

The location is good. Staff was really helpful and nice, except for one weird older man. One shower didn't work (just cold water). Shower facilities could be improved (shelves, curtains etc.). Need outlets near beds, not just in one corner of the room :( The lamp above my bed didn't work, couldn't read :(

Awesome place to stay. The owners - Deborah and her husband - are very nice people with a great sense of hospitality. The place is very interesting by itself - many arts, nice pictures, old-style furniture... Definitely would like to stay again.

No wifi in my room and very slow wifi near the admin table. No common area, kitchen is closed after 10 pm. Bed was a bit noisy, but still comfortable. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't come back.

So good... Great location (although get ready to climb on 5th floor), great kitchen, bathroom, common area - everything is really nice. Free breakfast is also good. But what is the most important - people who work there, they are awesome! It was great pleasure to stay there, thank you guys!

Actually, this is more like guest house with 2 dorm rooms and 1 bathroom. Owner family is nice and friendly, you will like this place :) Location is the best - in Old City, but still easy to find. Breafast was also good. It's more expensive than other caucasian countries, but get ready - Baku is expensive city. If I will be in Baku again, for sure will stay at this hostel.

Great location. The owner, who run this hostel, is very nice person, friendly and helpful. Although it's on the main street, it's absolutely not noisy. Nice place to stay for a few days and just relax with a glass of georgian wine :)

My 3rd booking thios hostel. The same opinion - hostel is ok, but don't stay in dorms in basement - so noisy!!! Must say - they solved the problem with fresh air, now much better. Staff is helpful and friendly, but in basement, where they do all their housekeeping job is very noisy. It's not good idea to host people in dark and noisy basement.

Well, hostel is basicly ok, I wrote it in my previous review, BUT this time I booked 8-bed dorm and if you book dorm for 8 beds, you gonna live in basement. Not good. A few porblems - always dark, without natural light. Not fresh air. And the main: this basement is in fact floor where all housekeeper staff work - it's really noisy! I wouldn't recommend to stay in 8 or more beds dorm.

Nice place, you will like it. The only problem was that it was impossible to lock the bathroom's door, but it's not so important.

Well, everything was ok - location is very good, staff is helpful. Guys work really good - all the time they care about to clean the floor, to put new toilet paper etc... The one problem is cockroaches. Anyway, I would like to stay there again.

When I arrived 1st night guest house was over-booked, so the owner drove me to his friend's guest house (not very good) for 1 night. Next morning he drove me back. Location is good, it's easy to find as it's written. It takes 3-5 minutes from Clock Tower to get there. May be not ideally clean (in bathroom), but basicly it was ok. I would like to stay there again.

Basicly, it's ok. Perfect location, friendly staff, clean. But, could you please add at least 2-3 hooks or hangers in bathroom? Because it's absolutely impossible to hang up a towel.

1. This is not hostel. 2. The pictures are not their. 3. When I came (finally found them, because the house's photo on page is not their), it was closed. After I knocked long time, one man opened and said (very calm) "we don't have free rooms, you can't stay here". (of course, I had a reservation). I was very tired and just shocked. Didn't expect. At least, finally his daughter gave me my reservation fee. Guys, don't book this place.

The owner and staff are very friendly. Location is not very good.
Hi there! Thank you so much for the great review and rating. It's good to know that you found the staff friendly. About the location, we're just a kilometer away from the beautiful Taj Mahal and lesser than a 15 minute tuktuk ride to the main city, and we're very accessible too. It would be quite tough to find a better location with the prices and services that we offer. Hope you'll visit us again and we can give you an even better experience. Cheers, Zostel

Staff is very friendly. Because it's Moscow, some part of hostel's clients are workers or looking for rent flat. So they can live in hostel a long time. Actually, the hostel is situated in big flat. Clean, facilities is ok.

Location is really great! Generally, everything was ok. Just not enough outlets in dorm-room. No wifi in room, only in common space, in the kitchen.

Everything was ok, but it was very noisy during all the night (hostel is right near the bar with disco). Customers from this bar use the same toilet, that you. Shower is separately, in the courtyard

Staff made me a big problem. My check-out was early in the morning, so before that I asked boy on the reseption if he'll be there at 6 a.m. (I have to leave the key and get deposit document), he said "YES, sure". But he wasn't. Me and 2 other girls were waiting for him more than 1 h. Finally, I hadn't more time to wait, I leave my key with the note with my address and asked to sent me my doc, but they didn't sent it to me! I wrote them 2 @-mails, but they didn't answer!

It was ok! Although the location isn't perfect (it takes near 30 min to get to the Old Town), well it's not a 5* hotel. But everything else was ok: the owner family was realy friendly. It was cleanly. Good place!
