Hostel Papaya Getsemani

Cartagena, Colombia
100%

I love this hostel. It is right next to Plaza de La Trinidad. The hostel itself is lovely. Has a nice backyard with outdoor dining table and two reclining chair. We stayed in a 4-bed dorm but it was only us two staying there. We shared the bathroom with the next room (6-bed room). The bathroom is one person use, but it is very well-kept and it's inside the room. Room comes with air condition. The kitchen is well kept and breakfast is good. I highly recommend it.

Aluna Casa y Cafe

Santa Marta, Colombia

Aluna is a great hostel. the location is a bit far out from the main city attraction but the city is small enough to walk. Staff is great. They have a nice kitchen on the 3rd floor. The staff is very helpful with recommendation on what to do around Santa Marta. The city itself is kinda boring. The room comes with locker but you have to bring your own lock. Wasn't big enough for a carry on suit case but I think backpack should fit fine. The rate didn't come with towel either.

The hostel is a bit of a walk to the main street but the atmosphere is amazing. Always meeting new people here. They also rent out bicycle for really cheap. The price is unbeatable. You get what you pay for.
