Stayed in two different rooms - the first was a mixed 6 bed dorm, rather dirty, a/c did not work. Carpenters would come in and leave the door unlocked when they left. The second room was an all female 4 bed dorm - much much better. A/c worked, rooms was clean. Fridges (huge) in both rooms. Very close to Waikiki Beach, the guests are a nice crowd, the staff is always around. Included breakfast consists of 4 slices of toast, butter, jam and a yoghurt.

Good location just off Hollywood Blvd. They offer tours, hikes, all sorts of trips. Beds have metal "walls" to give you some privacy. You also have a bed light and outlets right by your bed.

Very noisy place; it's right on the border to The Tenderloin, not really a nice place. At night, watch out which direction you walk - you might easily end up in a very sketchy area. The bathrooms don't have sinks, so you need to go back to your room to wash your hands. We only had two outlets in the room - for 4 people.

I really enjoyed staying there - the staff is super nice, the breakfast is good and the location is pretty nice, too. You can rent bikes and you'll be in downtown Charleston within 5 min!
